The students in the advanced MIB Programme in Paris will need to do a “company project” during the second semester of the programme. It is a 3 month group work that replaces 3 electives. There are several projects given by several companies (one per company) and the students are asked to choose one. It starts at the beginning of February and ends at the end of April. The students are assigned a supervisor who gives them leads on how to go about the subject given by a company. The supervisor is, of course, not there to do the work for the students, nor to solve group-internal problems. This last point is actually part of the aims of the project: it is the students’ responsibility to be able to work together and overcome the difficulties of working together in order to produce a final result. In the end, the students need to submit a final written report and to make a presentation to both their supervisor AND the company. This piece of work is graded by both parties and, if passed, awards the students 6 ECTS credits (one tenth of the program).

Our MIB students not only study the latest theories in their chosen field, but they also undergo a real-life executive training period (for a minimum of 2 months) in the company of their choice. During this period, they will be able to connect the theories of management to hands-on experience and test the cross-cultural skills they will have developed at IESEG School of Management.
IESEG has a full team dedicated to developing relationships with private corporations and to assisting MIB students with their internship needs, such as Hewlett Packard, St Gobain, Arcelor Mittal, L'Oréal, Samsung.

Important: The internship is OBLIGATORY for a scheduled completion of the program. In the scheme of things, the internship counts for 10 of the 60 ECTS credits.
