Tuition, living cost and payment plan

Tuition payment plan

The current tuition for the MIB program is 12000 Euros. All previous exchange students at IESEG or students coming from one of IESEG's international partner universities automatically receive 10% tuition reduction.

Tuition payment plan

  • After arriving at IESEG at the beginning of the first semester, all MIB students are required to make a payment for the tuition for first semester: 6000 euros – 1000 euros deposit = 5000 euros. The rest of the tuition is due at the beginning of the second semester 2012.
  • For scholarship recipients, you can pay half of your tuition after the tuition waiver reduction. For example, students with 10% tuition reduction needs to pay 10800 euros in total, therefore 5400-1000 = 4400 euros for the 1st semester and 5400 euros for the second.
  • All payments need to be made by bank transfer. Only cheques from French banks in France can be used instead.
  • There could be extra student activities fee and social security charge for certain students to be added to the first payment, please see the registration form that you will receive.

Living Cost

As a student hub, Lille is relatively less expensive than some of the other major cities in France. Please see below some general estimates for living cost per month:

  • Housing – around 400 Euros (governmental financial help available, see "housing")
  • Food – 200 Euros (a sandwich, a coke and a yogurt cost around 3.60 Euros around school area)
  • Mobile – 20 Euros
  • TGV to Paris – 20 to 50 Euros one way
  • Local transportation (see "transportation")
  • Going out – around 100 Euros
  • Miscellaneous (e.g. Le Journal is 1,20 Euros)
