IESEG staff speaks English :-) !

The International Relations Office and the International Club organize a Study Abroad Fair each January to promote partner universities to IESEG students, so incoming exchange students should not hesitate to bring brochures from their home university as well as pictures, music and items representing their home country.

  2. Orientation

The Orientation is specifically designed for international students and it starts one week before the beginning of classes:

    Semester 1 (Fall 2012)

    Semester 2 (Spring 2013)

    Arrival Dates

    last week of August.
    Preferred day: 20th August 2012

    1st week of January
    Preferred day: 7th January 2013

    Mandatory Orientation Seminar

    Semester 1 : 21st-25th August 2012

    Semester 2 : 8th-12th January 2013

It is mandatory because it is an essential period for all the diverse students to get to know each other, get to know the city where they will be living for the next semester/ year, get to know the university environment and some of the French societal customs.

IESEG team will update the students on course offer, daily life information and will assist the students with course registration, health insurance obligations, residence titles, etc. This is also when students take French language placement tests.

And last but not least, have fun!

  3. Club International (Club Inter)

The International Club is made of volunteering IESEG French students from the Grande Ecole Programme. All these students have participated in international exchange programs in the past and are passionate about travelling, encountering various cultures, helping to enrich the lives of incoming international students to IESEG and facilitating their integration in France.

Each year, International Club organizes various activities for international students in order to help them better adapt to the new environment and better appreciate their stay in France (meals, trips, parties, forums, buddy program, language café, etc.).

During orientation weeks, members of the Club Inter may also accompany international students in certain integration tasks, such as opening a French account, buying a SIM card for their cellphone, etc.

Join the International Club Facebook group!

IESEG School of Management gathers many student associations, as well as Lille Catholic University: BDS – Sports Bureau, arts activities, finance association, etc.

  4. French Language courses

IESEG School of Management offers free FLE (French as a Foreign Language) courses during Fall and Spring semesters: French for Beginners, Business French and Advanced Business French. Students take French language placement tests during the orientation week.
