The focus of the lecture is on the expected effects on European and German companies from changing global supply chains and the necessary development of new sources of energy and raw materials.\u00a0While Europe probably has a long way to go to return from confrontation to cooperation, other countries and markets are already positioning themselves as alternative suppliers and production locations. As \u201csafe havens\u201d with good location factors, the USA and China are likely to benefit disproportionately from anticipated production relocations. This is supported by the American &#8220;Buy American&#8221; and the Chinese &#8220;Dual Circulation&#8221; policy. The presentation aims to provide you with scenarios for strategic management considerations. Consequently, it involves practical experience from current geopolitical consulting mandates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>About our speaker:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ralf SCHUSTER<\/strong> is Geopolitical Strategist at Helaba \u2013 Landesbank Hessen-Thueringen and a long-standing member of the International Club at the Federal Foreign Office. Since 1985, his professional focus has been on furthering trade with emerging and developing countries. He got to know the interests of German companies in international business early on.
