The final of the second edition of the CSR Challenge (Corporate Social Responsibility) organized by I\u00c9SEG CONSEIL Lille, the Junior Enterprise of the Lille campus, took place online on the 4th February. This student pitch contest allowed 3 student associations to win a total of \u20ac2300 to finance their environmental or social projects.<\/em><\/p>\n

The CSR Challenge, a regional event promoting responsible student initiatives in the Hauts-de-France<\/em> region<\/h4>\n

I\u00c9SEG CONSEIL Lille has, for the second consecutive year, organized a CSR Challenge (this year it has been extended to the regional level). Its objective: to federate the network of Junior-Enterprises around common values. The event is also an opportunity to create links between ambitious student projects and committed companies and organizations.<\/p>\n

32 student projects from the Hauts-de-France<\/em> region and Belgium applied for the 2020\/2021 edition in order to represent their school in the final of the event. The candidates, coming from 9 different schools and universities, drew up a roadmap presenting the CSR strategy established within their association. Last November, each Junior-Enterprise then elected the finalist who would represent them in the final, scheduled for February 4, 2021.<\/p>\n

9 finalists, 3 prizes, 1 pitch contest<\/h4>\n

Each project had 7 minutes to present (online) to the public, as well as to a jury, their ambitions for their association. Composed of I\u00c9SEG Conseil’s partner companies and organizations (I\u00c9SEG, SNCF, Centre des Jeunes Dirigeants, Boulanger, Faguo, BNP<\/em>) the jury had the task of deciding between the different pitches.<\/p>\n

After deliberation, they rewarded Interagir’ (a project from Science – Po Lille<\/em> that aims to create social links between students and the homeless) with the Jury’s \u20ac1100 prize and Tomorrow Tech’<\/em> with the Jury’s \u20ac500 “coup de coeur<\/em>” prize (a start-up created by ISEN students, which collects, recycles and reconditions electronic equipment).<\/p>\n

However, the jury was not the only one who could award a prize. The public, composed of more than 300 people online, was also able to vote for their favorite project: Daiindai, that was awarded \u20ac700. This I\u00c9SEG student association raises awareness in schools about inequalities in access to education and raises funds to finance the schooling of girls in Cambodia at the “Happy Chandara” school.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
