{"id":107969,"date":"2021-03-23T09:34:07","date_gmt":"2021-03-23T08:34:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/?post_type=news&#038;p=107969"},"modified":"2021-03-23T10:44:31","modified_gmt":"2021-03-23T09:44:31","slug":"sixth-edition-of-the-icor-awards","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/news\/sixth-edition-of-the-icor-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"Sixth edition of the ICOR awards: a thesis on the use of blockchain to encourage the deployment of the circular economy wins 1st prize"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Every year, I\u00c9SEG and its <a href=\"https:\/\/icor.ieseg.fr\/\">Center for Organizational Responsibility (ICOR)<\/a> organize a competition to award the best \u201cI\u00c9SEG student thesis\u201d regarding organizational ethics, social responsibility and sustainable development.<\/p>\n<p>For the sixth edition of this prize, a group of academic experts evaluated 21 theses at the end of last year in order to select the best three in terms of academic criteria.<\/p>\n<p>A panel of professionals, this year including Arnaud Rolland, <em>Directeur RSE<\/em>, Coca-Cola European Partners, L\u00e9a Dhelin, Positive strategy and innovation Senior Consultant, @Imagin\/able, co-founder of the \u2018Green is the New Black&#8217; project and I\u00c9SEG alumna, as well as Quentin Oustelandt, Co-founder of Energic, then selected the winner from the finalists.<\/p>\n<p>The 2021 ICOR Prize was thus awarded to Aymeric Bricout (2020 Grande Ecole Program alumnus) on Tuesday, March 9th, during CSR Day, for his thesis entitled: \u201cImplementing the Blockchain Technology for Traceability and Transparency in Value Chain Networks in support of a Circular Economy: A Comparative Study Confronting Claims from the Existing Literature and Field Experts\u201d (I\u00c9SEG thesis supervisor: Lo\u00efc BERGER).<\/p>\n<p>To learn more about his thesis, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=qGXCcPnNia0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">watch the video presentation (in French)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Every year, the winner of the ICOR Prize wins \u20ac2,000: \u20ac1,000 for the winner and \u20ac1,000 for the winner to give to a non-profit organization or social enterprise of their choice.<\/p>\n<p>Aymeric chose to donate this sum to \u20ac1,000 to <a href=\"https:\/\/echo100plus.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Echo100Plus<\/a>, a charity organization whose volunteers work in migrant camps in Greece, organizing sports and educational activities, language courses, etc.<br \/>\nThe two other ICOR Prize finalists were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Marthe CREPELLE for her thesis entitled, \u201cThe relationship between CSR and individuals\u2019 attraction, social identity and person-organization fit\u201d (I\u00c9SEG thesis supervisor: Elise MARESCAUX)<\/li>\n<li>Jules MARTINA for his thesis entitled, \u201cWhat could influence a donor\u2019s motivation to support a crowdfunding campaign made by a social enterprise based in a developing country?\u201d (I\u00c9SEG thesis supervisor: Paulami MITRA)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/news\/interview-with-aymeric-bricout\/\"><div class=\"su-note\"  style=\"border-color:#c1c1c1;\"><div class=\"su-note-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\" style=\"background-color:#dbdbdb;border-color:#ffffff;color:#333333;\">Discover an interview with Aymeric Bricout<\/a>, a young alumnus passionate about climate and energy-related issues, as well as by research!<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/relations-entreprises\/recrutement\/forums\/\"><\/div><\/div><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Every year, I\u00c9SEG and its Center for Organizational Responsibility (ICOR) organize a competition to award the best \u201cI\u00c9SEG student thesis\u201d regarding organizational ethics, social responsibility and sustainable development.
