Each year, the month of November is dedicated to the promotion and appreciation of the Social and Solidarity Economy. The Social and Solidarity Economy is represented by a\u00a0 group of companies and institutions, organized in cooperatives, mutual societies, associations or foundations, whose functioning and activities are based on a principle of solidarity and social utility. Their management methods are both democratic and participatory, and they strictly monitor the use of the profits they make: individual profit is forbidden and the earnings are reinvested.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u00c9SEG and its entire community (students, staff and graduates,…) are already very much involved in entrepreneurship in general, and in the Social and Solidarity Economy in particular, whether it be through teaching, research or the creation of social enterprises.<\/p>\n

Indeed, thanks to its interdisciplinary approach, I\u00c9SEG provides its students with all the knowledge and skills (creativity, responsibility, problem-solving, critical thinking, etc.) to experience, test, learn and become entrepreneurs or intrapreneurs.<\/p>\n

In its new strategic plan, the School is also committed to accelerating the development of its entrepreneurial ecosystem, including social entrepreneurship, by drawing on its network of graduates and its entire network.<\/p>\n
