{"id":141464,"date":"2023-03-07T14:38:49","date_gmt":"2023-03-07T13:38:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/?post_type=news&#038;p=141464"},"modified":"2025-09-10T11:40:21","modified_gmt":"2025-09-10T09:40:21","slug":"sustainable-development-and-diversity-week","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/news\/sustainable-development-and-diversity-week\/","title":{"rendered":"I\u00c9SEG organizes the Sustainable Development and Diversity Week from March 13 to 17"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>In order to continue and intensify its activities to promote interdisciplinary learning, teaching and research around the issues of sustainability, diversity and inclusion, I\u00c9SEG is organizing, from March 13 to 17, 2023, the Sustainable Development and Diversity Week on its campuses in Lille and Paris &#8211; La D\u00e9fense.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Around the main theme &#8220;How can we prepare for a more fair, equitable, diverse, inclusive and sustainable world?&#8221;, several departments, centers of excellence and administrative services have organized a rich program for all of I\u00c9SEG&#8217;s stakeholders (students, employees, partner companies, graduates&#8230;).<\/p>\n<p>Keynote on the theme of diversity, &#8220;Digital CleanUp&#8221; week for staff and students to reduce their digital footprint, training session against street harassment by L&#8217;Or\u00e9al, workshop on equal opportunities with Article1, weelchair rugby session with the Wheelchair Sevens International Board, &#8220;Green Career Day&#8221; (a forum dedicated to CSR jobs, or in B Corp certified companies or companies with a positive social and environmental impact), or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/events\/conference-avenir-plus-jedi-pour-les-organisations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a conference on the issues of equity, inclusion and diversity within organizations<\/a> (by Anne-Laure THOMAS, Director of Diversity, Equity &amp; Inclusion at L&#8217;Or\u00e9al France) are some of the events and activities that will be offered throughout the week.<\/p>\n<p>The Sustainable Development and Diversity Week will also be marked by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/events\/conference-icor-ethique-responsabilite-sociale-au-coeur-revolution-digitale-ia-remise-prix-meilleur-memoire-rse-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">8th edition of the ICOR Prize for the best student thesis on organizational ethics, social responsibility and sustainability in business<\/a> (March 14 from 7pm, on the Lille campus + REGISTRATION LINK). On this occasion, a conference on the theme &#8220;Ethics and social responsibility at the heart of the digital revolution and artificial intelligence (AI)&#8221; is open to all. Gwendal YVIQUEL (Product Owner\/Manager Data &amp; AI at Leroy Merlin\/Adeo), Olivier FO\u00cbX (Ethics &amp; Compliance Officer at Doctolib) and Vincent PERRIN (IBM Partner Ecosystem Technical Leader at IBM) will participate.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, the massive development of digital technology, and in particular of artificial intelligence, the growth of &#8216;big data&#8217; and computer power, have a significant impact on individual and organizational practices. They question the role and the unique contribution of humans in front of these ever more powerful machines. They are changing the way we work and cooperate, make decisions and interact with stakeholders.
