The Case Centre Impact Index<\/a> is a new annual ranking launched as part of The Case Centre\u2019s 50th anniversary celebration. Founded in 1973 by 22 higher education institutions, who wanted a reliable facility for sharing case materials among business professors, The Case Centre is now firmly rooted in the heart of the case community as the independent home of the case method.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the independent distributor of the world\u2019s largest and most diverse collection of cases, including those from leading business schools worldwide, The Case Centre is uniquely placed to reward case teaching and writing excellence. The Case Centre Impact Index is an annual ranking of organizations based on the global reach and impact of their case writing.
The Impact Index is compiled using The Case Centre’s usage data from the previous academic year. To reflect the global reach and impact of an organization’s case writing, the index metrics include how many of their cases have been used, by how many organizations, in how many countries, and how many individual students have been taught based on the cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2022, The Case Centre has received 69 new cases for distribution from I\u00c9SEG authors<\/strong>. In total I\u00c9SEG collection available through The Case Centre numbers 330+ cases, many with accompanying instructor materials, software and videos. One is a prize-winning case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the period, 66 cases from I\u00c9SEG were sold to 56 organizations in 23 countries and were taught to 3,186 non-I\u00c9SEG students<\/strong>. These figures thus ranks I\u00c9SEG as the 2nd French organization and 23rd worldwide in this Impact Index.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
