{"id":154316,"date":"2024-02-16T11:58:25","date_gmt":"2024-02-16T10:58:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/?post_type=news&#038;p=154316"},"modified":"2024-03-21T11:59:40","modified_gmt":"2024-03-21T10:59:40","slug":"lorena-zanelli-director-international-relations","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/news\/lorena-zanelli-director-international-relations\/","title":{"rendered":"Lorena ZANELLI is appointed Director of International Relations at I\u00c9SEG"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As part of its &#8220;Inspire Connect Transform&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/lecole\/a-propos\/plan-strategique\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2022-2027 strategic plan<\/a>, the international dimension plays an important role in I\u00c9SEG&#8217;s continued international outreach, the recruitment of international students and the development of programs in partnership with renowned international institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of March 1, 2024, <strong>Lorena ZANELLI is appointed I\u00c9SEG&#8217;s Director of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/international\/international-relations-department\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">International Relations<\/a> <\/strong>and becomes a member of the School&#8217;s Management Board. She succeeds Antonio GIANGRECO who, in addition to his duties as Director of International Programs, becomes Director of Accreditations, and will remain a member of the Management Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lorena ZANELLI&#8217;s main objectives will be to boost the international appeal of the School&#8217;s network of partner universities and its international joint programs (double and triple degrees), and to further develop the School&#8217;s &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/international\/international-dimension\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Internationalization @Home<\/a>&#8221; strategy, recognized as an area of excellence by all international accreditations and rankings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lorena ZANELLI has over 20 years of experience in International Relations in higher education, both in France and abroad<\/strong>. By setting up the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.campusfrance.org\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Campus France<\/a> office in Lima, then as Deputy Head of Coordination for Campus France&#8217;s North and South America zone, Lorena was at the heart of France&#8217;s strategy for promoting higher education abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Deputy Director of international mobility at the Cit\u00e9 Internationale Universitaire de Paris, she experienced all aspects of student mobility. Finally, as Director of International Relations, notably at INSEEC School of Business &amp; Economics, she demonstrated her ability to develop and implement the International Relations strategy of a higher education institution (internationalization of programs, introduction of teaching in English, strategy for recruiting and welcoming international students, management of Erasmus+ and accreditations&#8230;).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><em>&#8220;I&#8217;m delighted to be taking on the role of Director of International Relations at I\u00c9SEG, because the School has deeply rooted this international dimension at every level: in its teaching, which is entirely in English; on its campuses, where more than 2,500 international students of over 100 nationalities are welcomed; and also within its teams, where more than 55 different nationalities work side by side. Everyone at I\u00c9SEG shares this intercultural and international spirit. Above all, I want to consolidate our European and international influence, in line with our CSR strategy, and strengthen our internationalization and innovation strategy by building on strategic
