However, <strong>if there&#8217;s one thing that hasn&#8217;t changed since 1964, it&#8217;s the School&#8217;s commitment to developping an innovative pedagogy to offer each student a unique and engaging learning experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-ieseg-orange-color has-text-color\">Pedagogy: innovating to deliver a quality learning experience<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Student experience is a major differentiating factor for I\u00c9SEG. That&#8217;s why it was decided, to continue reinforcing this strength, to name the first pillar of its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/the-school\/about-ieseg\/strategic-plan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2022-2026 Strategic Plan<\/a>: &#8220;<strong>Offering students an engaging learning experience<\/strong>&#8220;. From the outset, I\u00c9SEG chose not to multiply the number of campuses, especially abroad, and instead offer its students a unique and engaging intercultural learning experience throughout their studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, teaching and learning methods have evolved significantly since I\u00c9SEG&#8217;s founding in 1964, particularly due to the steady increase in cohort sizes. Thus, to maintain quality and engaging teaching, I\u00c9SEG early on decided to limit class sizes to prioritize interaction with professors, leverage everyone&#8217;s life, share its professional experiences, strengthen group work and oral presentations, and involve companies through business games and discussions on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/news\/bib-students-boulanger\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">real-life issues proposed by partner companies<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To achieve this, <strong>I\u00c9SEG also relies on professors with significant professional experience to enrich its faculty<\/strong>. These professors enhance the teaching methods offered by the School through their significant connections with the business world. This enables them to more easily bring in industry experts to teach, thanks to their personal networks, and also better explain to students the reality they will face upon graduation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-ieseg-orange-color has-text-color\">Data, CSR: societal revolutions with a major impact on the School<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In terms of teaching, the two major transformations the School has undergone are also the two challenges that businesses have faced since the 2000s: <strong>the digital revolution, especially related to Data, and topics related to CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility)<\/strong>. These are major subjects for businesses seeking graduates proficient in these new knowledge areas and the attitudes they require. To address the challenge of the digital revolution, I\u00c9SEG was one of the first schools to offer a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/programs\/specialized-masters\/master-big-data-analytics-business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Master in Big Data Analytics for Business<\/a> and early on introduced the concept of AI ethics\u2026 Similarly, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/news\/redesign-curriculum-grande-ecole-program-focus-sustainability\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">I\u00c9SEG recently redesigned its entire CSR teaching within its Grande Ecole Program <\/a>to make it even more relevant and in line with business needs.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Change-Management-TechShop.jpg\" alt=\"Change Management\" class=\"wp-image-148464\" width=\"476\" height=\"266\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Change-Management-TechShop.jpg 951w, https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Change-Management-TechShop-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Change-Management-TechShop-768x429.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Change-Management-TechShop-150x84.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Change-Management-TechShop-400x223.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 476px) 100vw, 476px\" \/><figcaption>Studients at the TechShop during the Change Management course<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Beyond teaching itself, <strong>I\u00c9SEG has always invested heavily in the pedagogical dimension and in supporting its professors to innovate in pedagogy<\/strong>, integrate technologies more and more into teaching (not only for distance learning), and adapt to the new expectations of new generations of students. For example, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/news\/change-management-2023-cge-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a completely unique Change Management course was designed to teach students how to manage change<\/a>. Students are immersed in a new and disorienting environment, the TechShop (a collaborative fabrication workshop), and must build a simple object\u2026 taking into account the multiple changes imposed throughout the course. This course was notably awarded the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cge.asso.fr\/decouvrez-les-laureats-de-la-2e-edition-du-prix-jean-francois-fiorina-pour-linnovation-pedagogique\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2023 Pedagogical Innovation Prize by the CGE<\/a> (<em>Conf\u00e9rence des Grandes \u00c9coles<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:6px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"has-ieseg-orange-color has-text-color\">Supporting the professors in the evolution of their teaching techniques<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Thus, the CETI (Center for Educational and Technological Innovation) was created in 2012 to <strong>support professors in their teaching techniques and in the creation of digital content<\/strong>. Another example, Catherine GABELICA joined the School in 2016 and, with her Ph.D. in Education Sciences, continues to support the Pedagogy Department in improving learning processes on a daily basis. She also created the &#8220;Teaching Certificate,&#8221; which rewards professors who have completed a one-year program to help them improve the quality of their teaching, from course preparation or creation, to presentation to students, and especially pedagogical evaluation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, <strong>the School has partnered with several EdTech companies, allowing I\u00c9SEG to access content or pedagogical tools that renew certain course formats<\/strong>. For example, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wooclap.com\/fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wooclap<\/a> (a quiz and polling tool) enriches the nature and quality of exchanges in class and online and promote active student learning. <a href=\"https:\/\/deepmemory.io\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DeepMemory<\/a> promotes more personalized student learning by adapting to their level of retention and understanding of course material. Finally, <a href=\"https:\/\/challengeme.online\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ChallengeMe<\/a> proposes a peer-learning and evaluation solution, especially to help students evaluate themselves and deliver constructive feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/news\/60-years-of-impact-research\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer
