The lawyers\u2019 network GESICA and I\u00c9SEG School of Management organize a colloquium on Thursday 12th of September 2013, at the National Assembly.<\/p>\n

From 9am and 12am, participants will discuss a current topic and its effects: \u201cLabour Law, a brake on competitiveness?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

French competitivity is at the center of current debate. Are our labour laws negatively influencing our competitiveness? Some figures: the French Labour Code contains over 10,000 articles (compared with 50 in Switzerland). In France a payslip has over 24 lines (compared with four in Belgium).<\/p>\n

Speakers include Fran\u00e7ois Taquet, who initiated this colloquium, and who is an expert on labour law. He is a Professor in Executive Education at I\u00c9SEG School of Management and the author of parliamentary amendments and many books.<\/p>\n
