On March 27, 2025, I\u00c9SEG\u2019s campus in Lille<\/a> was filled with entrepreneurial energy during the I\u00c9SEG Entrepreneurship Day<\/strong>. This annual event brings together the entire entrepreneurial community of the school\u2014students, alumni, incubated startups, partners, and key players in the local ecosystem. The goal is to provide a platform for networking, sharing expertise, and inspiring the growth of high-potential projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day\u2019s program featured a forum gathering I\u00c9SEG\u2019s main entrepreneurship stakeholders, expert-led mini-conferences, and networking sessions. It was an opportunity for entrepreneurs to connect, exchange ideas, and find inspiration. This event reflects the school\u2019s commitment to supporting its entrepreneurs throughout their journey\u2014from creation to expansion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond discussions and experience sharing, one of the event\u2019s highlights was the I\u00c9SEG Entrepreneur Award, which annually recognizes the most innovative projects and promising startups founded by the school\u2019s students or alumni.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For its 9th edition<\/strong>, six startup finalists competed in a pitch contest before a jury composed of professionals, graduates, and Tristan FERT\u00c9 (winner of the 2024 edition<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n

Yvan DE LA BAUME, I\u00c9SEG Entrepreneur Award 2025<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n

The I\u00c9SEG Entrepreneur Award<\/strong>, with a prize of \u20ac8,000, was awarded to Virvolt<\/a>, represented by Yvan DE LA BAUME (I\u00c9SEG graduate, 2018). This startup specializes in motorizing bicycles, making electric bikes more accessible to a wider audience and reducing the environmental impact of transportation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Jury\u2019s Favorite Award<\/strong>, with a prize of \u20ac3,000, was granted to Izalgue<\/a>, a project led by Andrea TASSARD (I\u00c9SEG Master\u2019s in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Class of 2022). This startup is committed to the energy transition and aims to redefine the future of insulation using washed-up seaweed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New this year, the public also had the opportunity to participate by voting for the Public’s Favorite: Virvolt <\/strong>also won this award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By supporting high-potential projects, I\u00c9SEG Network<\/a> and the I\u00c9SEG Incubator<\/a> play a key role in fostering the emergence of impactful, sustainable, and innovative startups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s winning projects highlight the diversity and richness of entrepreneurial initiatives emerging from I\u00c9SEG.
