I\u00c9SEG participated in four disciplines and achieved notable results:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Men&#8217;s Volleyball: 1st place<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Men&#8217;s Football: 2nd place<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Men&#8217;s &amp; Women&#8217;s Badminton: 3rd place<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Men&#8217;s Basketball: Quarter-finals<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The atmosphere was vibrant, supported by smooth organization and strong involvement from the School&#8217;s supporters&#8217; association. &#8220;The students were thrilled with the event; there was a fantastic atmosphere. The highlight was the cheerleaders&#8217; victory, despite a rushed preparation and new members joining mid-course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;<em>We didn&#8217;t expect to win. Compared to other teams, we thought we might not have the level, but we adapted to the Derby&#8217;s context, which was more relaxed than the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/news\/world-interuniversities-championships-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">WIUC<\/a><\/em>,&#8221; shares Mathilde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With just one month of preparation, the team optimized their time by revisiting a previously worked choreography. &#8220;We have three training sessions per week, including one with a coach from the French team. It&#8217;s intense commitment, and BDS supports us tremendously!&#8221; she adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-ieseg-orange-color has-text-color\">When team spirit leads to success<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond sporting achievements, the exceptional atmosphere also contributed. &#8220;<em>The team gets along really well, and the atmosphere is great. What&#8217;s fantastic is that we have diverse profiles, and that&#8217;s what propelled us<\/em>,&#8221; affirms Mathilde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the BDS continues to play a crucial role in I\u00c9SEG&#8217;s sports life.
