Each year, I\u00c9SEG professors nominated through student course evaluations have the opportunity to submit an application for the Teaching Excellence Awards. These awards aim to highlight faculty members\u2019 commitment to innovative, active, and caring pedagogy that supports student learning and skills development.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In their applications, the nominated professors share their educational vision and explain how they contribute to enhancing the quality of students\u2019 learning experience or to promoting excellence in recognized teaching practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus, the awards honor not only pedagogical creativity and innovation, but also the ability of professors to create engaging, stimulating, human-centered learning experiences tailored to the needs of every student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The importance of collective effort<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

During the 7th edition of the awards ceremony, held on November 7, 2025, all the winning professors emphasized that the award represents \u201crecognition of a collective effort.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAs much as I am honored to receive this distinction, it is thanks in large part to the collective work of I\u00c9SEG\u2019s teams\u2014especially the administrative staff, for their logistical support, from room preparation to equipment setup and course scheduling. This award is not just mine; it also belongs to all those who help create the right conditions for me to do my job as a teacher,\u201d<\/em> said Johannes CLAEYS, Professor of Leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professors recognized across six categories<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Each of the awarded professors exemplifies I\u00c9SEG\u2019s pedagogical excellence in their own way, demonstrating the essential role of collaboration and innovation in learning. In the 2025 edition, seven professors were honored:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
