The School takes action at every stage of the student journey: reaching out to middle and high schoolers before they even apply, providing support throughout their academic life, and guiding them all the way to graduation and into the workforce.<strong> This comprehensive approach is designed to dismantle barriers<\/strong>\u2014whether financial, informational, or psychological\u2014and empower everyone to build their own future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-ieseg-orange-color has-text-color\">Before I\u00c9SEG: expanding horizons for middle and high school students<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the primary challenges of equal opportunity lies in access to information and combating self-censorship. Concurrently, the school develops <strong>partnerships with dedicated non-profits such as <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/news\/telemaque-partnership\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">T\u00e9l\u00e9maque<\/a><\/em><\/strong>. This organization champions equal opportunity by supporting motivated, underprivileged youth through a dual-mentorship program involving both a school and a corporate mentor. As part of this partnership, I\u00c9SEG regularly hosts immersion days, allowing young students to experience life at a leading business school firsthand, chat with current students, and envision themselves there. By breaking down mental barriers, I\u00c9SEG aims to build confidence and encourage young people to pursue their highest ambitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this context, I\u00c9SEG regularly hosts <strong>immersion days, allowing young students to experience life at a leading business school firsthand<\/strong>, chat with current students, and envision themselves there. By breaking down mental barriers, I\u00c9SEG aims to build confidence and encourage young people to pursue their highest ambitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The school has also gone a step further by opening up some of its short programs to high school students involved in these outreach initiatives. Each year, around ten of them get the opportunity to <strong>participate in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/programs\/short-term-programs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Short-Term Programs<\/a> alongside current students, giving them an initial immersive experience at I\u00c9SEG<\/strong>. This highly impactful initiative helps them familiarize themselves with higher education teaching methods, gain confidence, and picture their academic future more concretely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;Our goal is to step in as early as possible, starting in middle school, to open up horizons,&#8221;<\/em> explains Hena Javaid, Equal Opportunity Project Manager. <em>&#8220;Many young people, especially from disadvantaged backgrounds, self-censor or simply lack information. Our role is to show them the wide variety of paths available to them, give them reference points, and build their confidence so they can make informed choices. With this in mind, we guide them through their decision-making process and provide all the information they need to define their academic goals and choose the path that suits them best.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-ieseg-orange-color has-text-color\">During their studies: removing obstacles and ensuring an inclusive student experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once students are enrolled, the main focus shifts to academic success and the overall student experience. While tuition fees are a major hurdle, they are only part of the equation. The cost of living, access to resources, and integration into campus life also play a decisive role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces enjeux, l\u2019I\u00c9SEG d\u00e9ploie<strong> une approche globale, combinant <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/news\/financing-your-future-scholarships-and-financial-support\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aides financi\u00e8res<\/a>, accompagnement individualis\u00e9 et actions concr\u00e8tes <\/strong>pour favoriser l\u2019inclusion. Ainsi, une modulation des frais de scolarit\u00e9 est automatiquement appliqu\u00e9e pour les \u00e9tudiants boursiers, en fonction de l\u2019\u00e9chelon. Cette grille de r\u00e9duction est compl\u00e9t\u00e9e par des dispositifs de soutien port\u00e9s par l\u2019\u00c9cole et sa Fondation, dont l\u2019accompagnement s\u2019adapte aux situations individuelles. Face \u00e0 des difficult\u00e9s ponctuelles ou \u00e0 des accidents de vie (qu\u2019ils concernent les \u00e9tudiants ou leur famille), des solutions peuvent \u00eatre mises en place : aides financi\u00e8res exceptionnelles, am\u00e9nagements de paiements ou dispositifs de soutien sp\u00e9cifiques. Une logique de flexibilit\u00e9 qui permet de r\u00e9pondre au plus pr\u00e8s des besoins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To address these challenges, <strong>I\u00c9SEG deploys a comprehensive approach that combines <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/news\/financing-your-future-scholarships-and-financial-support\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">financial aid<\/a>, personalized guidance, and concrete actions to promote inclusion<\/strong>. For instance, tuition fee reductions are automatically applied to students receiving government grants, sliding according to their financial tier. This fee structure is supplemented by support systems funded by the School and its Foundation, with assistance tailored to individual circumstances. When short-term difficulties or unexpected life events arise\u2014affecting either the students or their families\u2014flexible solutions are put in place, including emergency financial aid, adjusted payment plans, or specific support frameworks. Thanks to financial assistance and backing from the School and its Foundation, these exceptional study-abroad opportunities become accessible to students who simply couldn&#8217;t have considered them without I\u00c9SEG. Beyond the academic experience, the Excellence Program removes a massive barrier, ensuring that everyone can pursue an education that matches their ambitions and merit, without economic constraints limiting their choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&#8220;Behind every student, there is a different story, and sometimes invisible vulnerabilities. Our job is to adapt to these situations, offering concrete and sometimes tailor-made solutions. The existing mentoring program will be further promoted to ensure that all young graduates who need it can benefit from specialized advice, expanded professional networks, and personalized coaching.
