The ranking measures the impact of case studies produced by higher education institutions in the fields of management and business. This recognition is complemented by a place in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ft.com\/bized-impact?syn-25a6b1a6=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Financial Times\u2019 Top 50 ranking<\/a>, published on October 8, 2026, in the \u201cTeaching Cases\u201d category. <strong>These two international distinctions highlight I\u00c9SEG\u2019s contribution to the global dissemination of teaching resources rooted in real-world business practices.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-ieseg-orange-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1\">Progress that highlights I\u00c9SEG\u2019s international reach in teaching<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Published annually by <em>The Case Centre<\/em>, an independent organization specializing in the dissemination of case studies, the <em>Case Centre Impact Index<\/em> recognizes business schools and universities based on the international reach and impact of their case study output. The Index\u2019s indicators include the number of teaching cases adopted, the number of organizations using them, the number of countries in which they are used, and the number of students who have taken courses based on these cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two rankings provide complementary insights into the visibility of I\u00c9SEG\u2019s case studies. The <em>Financial Times<\/em> ranking draws on data from the <em>Unified Case Impact Index<\/em>, which brings together the five leading case study publishers and distributors worldwide: CEIBS, Harvard Business Impact, IESE Publishing, Ivey Publishing, and The Case Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These results recognize the significance and quality of I\u00c9SEG faculty members\u2019 work in developing and disseminating teaching resources used by higher education institutions around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-ieseg-orange-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2\">The case method: learning grounded in real-world business<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Case studies also encourage students to apply their knowledge, collaborate in teams, and develop well-supported recommendations while honing their critical thinking skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cCase studies are among the teaching tools that support two key pillars of I\u00c9SEG\u2019s educational strategy: active learning and a focus on skills development. Students are always highly engaged when they are asked to reflect on and discuss real-world business challenges. Having faculty members who can write such cases and discuss them with their students demonstrates their strong connection to professional realities and their ability to help students envision themselves in practical business situations.
