{"id":22545,"date":"2014-10-13T11:53:57","date_gmt":"2014-10-13T09:53:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/?post_type=news&#038;p=22545"},"modified":"2014-10-13T16:35:31","modified_gmt":"2014-10-13T14:35:31","slug":"hope-project-international-collaborators-decathlon-group","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/news\/hope-project-international-collaborators-decathlon-group\/","title":{"rendered":"Hope Project: I\u00c9SEG hosts international collaborators of the Decathlon Group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/etudiants.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-22514 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/etudiants-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"etudiants\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/etudiants-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/etudiants-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/etudiants-150x100.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/etudiants-80x52.jpg 80w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>From March \u2013 July 2014, 30 junior international managers with strong potential from the Decathlon group were on campus at I\u00c9SEG Lille.<\/p>\n<p>For 5 months, they followed a customized training program in order to:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Acquire knowledge and skills by following 20 course modules adapted to Decathlon needs such as: Omni-Channel Sales, Accounting for Managers, Generating business by IT as well as a Personal Development module that included team building,\u00a0 drama and management and debating.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Understand other business models by attending various conferences and company visits to Amazon, IKEA, Volvo and Microsoft;<\/li>\n<li>Be able to develop an\u00a0<span class=\"b3\" style=\"color: #181818;\">attitude of detachment<\/span>\u00a0via Business Games, case studies, individual coaching sessions;<\/li>\n<li>Open up and be aware of other cultures via learning expeditions\/study trips to Barcelona and Frankfurt visiting companies such as Zara and The European Central Bank;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As well as their courses at I\u00c9SEG, the students also worked in one of the stores of the Decathlon group, where they were able to work on real life problems and situations and find solutions to them.<\/p>\n<p>This program supervised by I\u00c9SEG was customized and developed by Decathlon.
