I\u00c9SEG already cooperates with schools and universities in 11 countries in Africa and plans to develop further partnerships on the continent in the coming months. In Senegal, for example, where we are already working in partnership with Groupe IAM and Groupe ISM, the School recently collaborated with the organization Social Change Factory* (SCF), in the framework of its Voice Of Youth (Voix des Jeunes – VDJ<\/a>)<\/em> contest.<\/p>\n

The SCF initiative aims to bring Senegalese students from public universities and private universities, together in the framework of a televised-competition which focuses on positive impact-generating solutions in Senegal. The theme of the 2015 competition was “good governance”.<\/p>\n

In the framework of this partnership, I\u00c9SEG will host (for a period of six months) 3 of the student finalists from Ettica on academic exchange. I\u00c9SEG Director Jean-Philippe Ammeux was invited to Senegal for the competition final on September 13, 2015, to present the scholarships to the three students. He also had the opportunity to meet the Minister for higher education and research, Mary Teuw Niane.<\/p>\n

In parallel, he met the director of the IAM in Senegal, Mr. Moustapha Guirassy, \u200b\u200bto strengthen the partnership between the two institutions. Both institutions, which\u00a0already work to together to promote mobility of students and teachers and the exchange of best practices, now want to engage in a more strategic partnership based around programs and research.<\/p>\n

Jean-Philippe Ammeux explains: “I am delighted to develop a strategic partnership with one of the best management education institutions in Francophone Africa. The world is becoming increasingly globalized and Africa is a key continent in terms of economic development and cooperation prospects. More and more companies want to develop their activities in Africa. We are very pleased to work with institutions and organizations in Senegal such as IAM and ISM, and Social Change Factory, which share the same values, to train responsible managers for the future. ”<\/p>\n
