Dr Canato, who is Italian and studied at Bocconi University, holds the French \u201c<em>habilitation \u00e0 diriger des recherches\u201d (the authorization to direct research) <\/em> from the University of Lille 1. She began her career as a consultant in change management at Accenture, working in Eastern Europe, before starting her academic career path at Bocconi where she received her doctorate in 2008.<\/p>\n<p>After taking up a research position at Imperial College London Business School, she joined I\u00c9SEG in 2009, coordinating the School\u2019s MSc in International Business in Paris and the management track. In 2012, she became Director of the Management department, a position she held until 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Canato teaches and conducts research in connection with transformation in business, organizational culture and identity, and change management.
