The event, which takes place at our Paris-La D\u00e9fense campus, from July 19-23, 2016, is a key international event for scholars carrying out research in the field of marketing.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-40702\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/campus-paris-faculte-ieseg-300x268.jpg\" alt=\"campus-paris--ieseg\" width=\"300\" height=\"268\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/campus-paris-faculte-ieseg-300x268.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/campus-paris-faculte-ieseg-150x134.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/campus-paris-faculte-ieseg.jpg 650w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>The Academy of Marketing Science has been conducting World Marketing Congresses since 1983 at locations across the globe.\u00a0 Scholars from across the world attend to present their research findings and theoretical views and participate in special sessions.\u00a0 Furthermore, the event provides opportunities to meet and connect with new colleagues from around the world.<\/p>\n<p>More than 500 submissions, a record number, were received (including many from I\u00c9SEG partner institutions) following the call for papers.\u00a0 The congress will include presentations of peer-reviewed papers, special sessions, and panel discussions.<\/p>\n<p>Catherine Demangeot, professor at I\u00c9SEG and one of the conference program co-chairs, notes \u201cWe are delighted to have been selected to host the next AMS congress at our Paris \u2013 La D\u00e9fense campus. The School has a strong and well established marketing department with international professors publishing in top international peer-reviewed journals.<\/p>\n<p>The Congress provides a fantastic opportunity for participants to exchange on key challenges that marketers currently face, for example those related to the new digital channels and the opportunities that arise from big data.
