Domitille ADRIAN<\/p><\/div>\n

I\u00c9SEG and its Center of excellence for Organizational Responsibility (ICOR<\/a>), with the support of the Foundation of the Universit\u00e9 Catholique de Lille, has just awarded the third edition of the ICOR Prize. This prize recognizes the best Master\u2019s thesis by an I\u00c9SEG student in the fields of organizational ethics, social responsibility and sustainability.\u00a0 It is in line with I\u00c9SEG\u2019s 2025 Vision \u201cto empower changemakers for a better society\u201d.<\/p>\n

I\u00c9SEG professors, who are members of ICOR, evaluated 17 theses this year in order to select the three best (in terms of academic criteria). These were then judged by a panel of external experts: Isabelle Anton, CSR Director at IDKids; Jos\u00e9phine Biernacki, CSR Manager at Damartex; and Antoine Charlanne, Head of Strategy and Digital Transformation at Caisse d\u2019Epargne.<\/p>\n

On March 13, Domitille Adrian, a Master student, received the ICOR Prize for her thesis on the topic: Is the Social Impact Bond adaptable to France? * (with Professor Yulia Titova as thesis Director).<\/p>\n

\"ICOR\"Thanks to the support of the Foundation of the the Universit\u00e9 Catholique de Lille, she received a prize of \u20ac2,000: \u20ac1000 for herself and \u20ac1000 for a non-profit organization or a social enterprise of her choice. She chose to donate this to the association Les petits fr\u00e8res des pauvres, which assists people over 50 years old who suffer from solitude, poverty, exclusion, and serious illnesses.<\/p>\n

The jury then announced the runners-up: B\u00e9atrice Richard for her thesis \u201cMultiple accountability in NGOs: the accountability mechanisms in practice and implications towards stakeholders?\u201d (with Professor Raul Barroso as her thesis Director), and M\u00e9lanie Sotty & Viktoria Gunnarsson for their thesis \u201cHow can companies create social value in their ecosystem?\u201d (with Professor Lo\u00efc Pl\u00e9).<\/p>\n

The ICOR Prize presentation took place during a conference in Paris, moderated by the I\u00c9SEG Enactus Association, about the key factors for companies to create social impact. The following experts participated in the round table conference:

This was the opportunity for participants to share their respective experiences, challenges and vision related to CSR with the audience.
\nThe School also proposed a series of CSR-related workshops prior the conference. These\u00a0 included: smoothie bicycles, activities related to the ecological footprint and the impact of different behaviors on the environment, a quiz about sustainable development, and the \u201cIdea Wall\u201d, where participants could propose CSR and sustainable development-related ideas for I\u00c9SEG, etc.<\/p>\n

Corporate Social Responsibility is at the heart of I\u00c9SEG and of its 2025 Vision. The School integrates it transversally across all of its activities, Similarly, I\u00c9SEG has been committed for a number of years to important international and national CSR-related schemes, such as the United Nations Global Compact <\/a>(UNGC)\u00a0 and to the Principles for Responsible Management Education<\/a> (PRME).<\/p>\n
