This certificate-awarding program, put into place in the framework of <em>Femmes Leaders Carrefour*<\/em> program.<\/p>\n<p>14 women are currently participating in this program, which started in April and will end in November 2018. Most of them are operational managers who work directly in Carrefour hypermarkets in France. Before admission to the program, each participant had an interview and completed a questionnaire.<\/p>\n<p>The objective of the program is to enable participants to:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; broaden their perception and their overall vision by reinforcing their ability to think critically,<br \/>\n&#8211; to develop personal qualities such as professional authenticity, openness, and empathy,<br \/>\n&#8211; to develop their leadership by increasing their impact and influence.<\/p>\n<p>With various company visits, workshops, and inspirational get-togethers, this program is practical and operational so that the participants can put concepts learned through the modules into practice when they work. Throughout the program, the participants write a dissertation related to topics or developments at the company. They will defend this dissertation at the end, which will provide them with a certification.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe HRM of these hypermarkets wanted to create a training program for women leaders likely to evolve in the company, in order for them to develop skills to help them obtain aposition as director. During this 8-month program, they have developed their creativity, and their capacity to innovate on a daily basis, thus their ability to broaden their perception on operational excellence,\u201d V\u00e9ronique Mort, Managing Director at Carrefour.<\/p>\n<p>Anne-Sophie Fournier-Baby, I\u00c9SEG Executive Education consultant and Virginie Tilhet-Coartet, Senior Consultant in Leadership &amp; Management at Cegos, added, \u201cThis genuine working partnership between I\u00c9SEG Executive Education and Cegos allows us to provide participants with an academically and operationally rich program.
