{"id":73701,"date":"2018-09-26T15:36:28","date_gmt":"2018-09-26T13:36:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/?post_type=news&#038;p=73701\/"},"modified":"2025-09-10T12:23:47","modified_gmt":"2025-09-10T10:23:47","slug":"18-new-professors-join-ieseg","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/news\/18-new-professors-join-ieseg\/","title":{"rendered":"18 new professors join I\u00c9SEG to develop its academic faculty"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the framework of its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/about-ieseg\/mission-and-values\/\">strategic plan for 2016-2021<\/a>, I\u00c9SEG is continuing to develop its academic team by recruiting 18 new professors-researchers.<\/p>\n<p>This policy of strengthening the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/faculty-and-research\/academic-staff\/faculty-directory\/\">academic faculty<\/a> is part of the School\u2019s objective to provide its students with a unique, intercultural pedagogical experience and to be recognized on an international level for the quality of its research.<\/p>\n<p>The new members of the academic faculty (14 international and 4 French professors) have a Ph.D.\/Doctorate from some of the most prestigious institutions in France and abroad (see below).<\/p>\n<p>The School is made up of 137 permanent full-time professors on the Lille and Paris-La D\u00e9fense campuses: 82% of them are from outside of France (47 nationalities overall) and 100% have a Ph.D.\/Doctorate. The 18 new professor-researchers are:<\/p>\n<h4>Management Department (Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Human Resources, Information Systems, Operations Management)<\/h4>\n<p>\u2022 Christine Abdalla Mikhaeil, Professor in Information Systems Management (Ph.D, Georgia State University, Robinson College of Business).<br \/>\n\u2022 Johan Bruneel, Professor in Entrepreneurship (Ph.D, Faculty of Economics &amp; Business Administration Ghent University).<br \/>\n\u2022 Felipe Guzman, Professor in Human Resources Management (Ph.D, IESE Business School).<br \/>\n\u2022 Kaveh Mohajeri, post-doctoral researcher and Professor in Information Systems Management (Ph.D, Virginia Commonwealth University).<br \/>\n\u2022 Reza Mousavi, Professor in Information Systems Management (Ph.D, ESSEC Business School).<br \/>\n\u2022 Pierpaolo Parrotta, Professor in Human Resources Management, (Ph.D, Aarhus University).<br \/>\n\u2022 Mohammad Reihaneh, Professor in Operations Management (Ph.D, Univeristy of Massachusetts).<br \/>\n\u2022 Caroline Rieu Plichon, post-doctoral researcher\/and Professor in Change Management (Ph.D, ESCP Europe \u2013 arrival in November 2018).<\/p>\n<h4>Economics and Quantitative Methods Department:<\/h4>\n<p>\u2022 Uyanga Turmunkh, Professor in Economics (Ph.D, Erasmus University Rotterdam).<\/p>\n<h4>Marketing and International Negotiation Department:<\/h4>\n<p>\u2022 Goedele Krekels, Professor in Marketing (Ph.D, Ghent University).<br \/>\n\u2022 Thomas Leclercq, Professor in Marketing (Ph.D, Louvain School of Management, UCL \u2013 Universit\u00e9 Catholique de Louvain).<br \/>\n\u2022 Matthijs Meire, Professor in Marketing (Ph.D, Ghent University).<br \/>\n\u2022 Martin Storme, Professor in Negotiation (Ph.D, Universit\u00e9 Paris Descartes).<\/p>\n<h4>Finance, Audit and Control Department:<\/h4>\n<p>\u2022 Fabrizio Casalin, Professor in Finance (Ph.D, University of Strathclyde).<br \/>\n\u2022 Tinghua Duan, Professor in Finance (Ph.D, University of Edinburgh).<br \/>\n\u2022 Marie Redon, Professor in Accounting (Ph.D, Universit\u00e9 Paris Dauphine).<br \/>\n\u2022 Nicolas Eugster, Professor in Finance (Ph.D, University of Fribourg).<br \/>\n\u2022 Cinthia Valle Ruiz, Professor in Accounting (Ph.D, Complutense University of Madrid).<\/p>\n<p>With some of the most well rounded teams in Europe in Negotiation and Corporate Social Responsibility, I\u00c9SEG also possesses strong teams in all branches of management.<\/p>\n<p>The intercultural and international dimension (47 nationalities) of the School\u2019s academic faculty allows the School to have an international approach regarding the different subjects taught, and to train students to work in an intercultural context.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the framework of its strategic plan for 2016-2021, I\u00c9SEG is continuing to develop its academic team by recruiting 18 new professors-researchers.
