{"id":74035,"date":"2018-10-09T11:44:24","date_gmt":"2018-10-09T09:44:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/?post_type=news&#038;p=74035\/"},"modified":"2018-10-09T11:50:57","modified_gmt":"2018-10-09T09:50:57","slug":"ieseg-works-with-metro-france-in-a-certificate-awarding-program","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/news\/ieseg-works-with-metro-france-in-a-certificate-awarding-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Executive Education: I\u00c9SEG works with METRO France district managers in a certificate-awarding program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-73631 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Logo_METRO.svg_-300x150.png\" alt=\"logo_metro-svg\" width=\"300\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Logo_METRO.svg_-300x150.png 300w, https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Logo_METRO.svg_-768x384.png 768w, https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Logo_METRO.svg_-1024x512.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Logo_METRO.svg_-150x75.png 150w, https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/Logo_METRO.svg_.png 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Between January and May 2018, the I\u00c9SEG <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/executive-education\/\">Executive Education <\/a>team worked with a group of nine collaborators from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.metro.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\">Metro France<\/a> throughout a 14-day training session focused on management.<\/p>\n<p>The idea behind this certificate-awarding program was to offer participants operational training mixing educational methods.<\/p>\n<p>Made up of six modules, this customized training program aimed to:<br \/>\n\u2013 Develop self-awareness and awareness of others<br \/>\n&#8211; Improve interpersonal communication<br \/>\n&#8211; Mobilize and moderate a team according to the company\u2019s strategy<br \/>\n&#8211; Develop participants\u2019 competencies<br \/>\n&#8211; Adopt a leader position in a changing environment<\/p>\n<p>METRO France employees participated in collective workshops, where each participant presented one or several issues encountered in his\/her work. The objective was to allow the group to look for a solution collectively, with the help of the expert, and to test this solution through exercises. In order to validate skills acquired in the training session, participants also worked on a common theme (\u201c<em>fil rouge<\/em>\u201d) project. The goal of this project was to propose concrete solutions to improve individual and team performance.<\/p>\n<p>To obtain a certificate, participants had to present their results in front of a jury made up of I\u00c9SEG and METRO France representatives.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe greatly appreciated this collaboration. The reactivity and the thorough understanding of our scope statement, which allowed for the creation of our \u201cCAP Responsable de Secteur\u201d project, was in line with our expectations. We were able to give this training program a new, innovative and personalized approach, and we created strong links between our company\u2019s values and I\u00c9SEG\u2019s pedagogical team,\u201d<\/em> explained Sylvie HADJAZI, Training Project Manager at METRO France.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe training content, animated by certified coaches, was adjusted to match the particular challenges of our strategic plan.
