\"CSROn March 3, I\u00c9SEG held the third edition of its CSR Day: a day of activities for staff and students on both campuses dedicated to corporate social responsibility and sustainable development.<\/p>\n

Organized in collaboration with the School\u2019s Center of excellence for Organizational Responsibility (ICOR)<\/a>, the event began in the afternoon with a number of different activities: do-it-yourself workshops for natural household products, insect tasting, stands held by different I\u00c9SEG student associations, activities related to disability awareness and more.<\/p>\n

In addition, a conference on the theme \u201cTowards a circular economy: challenges, opportunities and transition\u201d was held on both campuses. The event in Lille was organized in the context of the award ceremony for the fifth edition of the ICOR prize<\/a> for the best Master\u2019s thesis on ethics, social responsibility and sustainability, and included the contribution of:<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Marc Violo, Directeur Marketing at Loop Europe<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"CSRFurthermore, students and staff were invited to participate in the Big Idea Challenge<\/em><\/strong>. This challenge aims to provide members of the school with the possibility to propose new CSR ideas or activities for I\u00c9SEG. The winning team will have the opportunity to implement its project in collaboration with I\u00c9SEG CSR Manager, Maria Castillo.<\/p>\n

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is at the heart of I\u00c9SEG and of its 2025 Vision: to be \u201ca unique international hub empowering changemakers for a better society\u201d. It is integrated transversally across all of the activities at the School, which has been committed for a number of years to important international and national CSR-related schemes, such as the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC)<\/a> and to the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME)<\/a>. The School has recently been selected as a PRME Champion a group of schools that contribute to thought and action leadership on responsible management education in the context of the United Nations sustainable development agenda. The School also features amongst the 30 leading international schools listed in a new student-based rating*, the PIR, measuring the positive impact of business schools internationally.<\/em><\/p>\n

\n

I\u00c9SEG Conseil Lille CSR Challenge<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the end of February, the Junior Enterprise at the Lille Campus, I\u00c9SEG Conseil<\/a> Lille, organized a CSR Challenge in collaboration with the School and BNP Paribas. The objective of the Challenge\u00a0was to highlight the different solidarity-focused projects of associations the team projects<\/a> in the 2nd year of the Grande Ecole program. The 5 projects\/associations selected for the final were invited to pitch in front of a jury. Congratulations to the winner S\u00e2nco<\/a>, that was awarded 500 euros and the team from the student association Act was awarded the \u2018prix du public\u2019 (300 euros).<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
