I\u00c9SEG is one of the 89 certified institutions<\/a> among the 183 undertaking the \u20183 star\u2019 certification (as of end of May 2020).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a sign of confidence, the certification testifies of the quality of the reception at I\u00c9SEG.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Orientation Week<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Every year, I\u00c9SEG organizes an orientation week for international students just before the start of the academic year.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this week, students are introduced to I\u00c9SEG and its facilities, the program that they have chosen to study, the staff in charge of their teaching, their class schedule, as well as the School\u2019s IT procedures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A broader orientation is also offered, covering subjects such as, how to navigate the public transportation system and how to handle various administrative procedures, including accessing a government housing subsidy, opening a bank account, and generally understanding the qualities of student life in France. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In short, international students are provided with tips and guidelines on how to successfully integrate into the school, the city and the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Semester 1 (Fall)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mandatory Orientation week: August 20 to 23, 2024<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Semester 2 (Spring)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arrival Date: 1st week of January \u2013 Preferred day: January 6, 2025
Mandatory Orientation week: January 7 to 10, 2025<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Incoming students<\/strong>: Final dates may be different according to the academic program you are entering at I\u00c9SEG, check carefully the schedule you\u2019ll receive a few weeks before the semester starts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lille<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Both Lille-Flandres and Lille-Europe train stations are connected by TGV fast train to Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport (1h). The Lille metropolis is quite well connected through metro, bus and tramway network. Lille-Europe is also considered as a bus terminal for long distance coaches and connection with Lille-Lesquin regional airport. Lille is also easily reachable from Brussels Zaventem airport (BRU, Belgium). International students will be welcomed on the campus directly on the first day of the orientation week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paris<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There is an excellent fast train (RER) and bus network to commute from the Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Paris Orly (ORY) airports to the city of Paris and its suburbs. International students will be welcomed on the campus directly on the first day of the orientation week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are late for the orientation seminar due to academic reasons at your home university, or any other reason, you are required to notify our International Services Coordinator of your arrival date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
