They will be employed as \u201cTeaching &amp; Research Assistant\u201d at KU Leuven the first year and IESEG the three remaining years. Both institutions offer a full-time fixed-term contract and a monthly salary or a scolarship, competitive with other European research and academic institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is not possible to join this program remotely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"titre3\">1st year<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"chevron-orange\"><strong>&gt;<\/strong><\/span> The first year of the program takes place on the FEB&#8217;s campus of Leuven and is only dedicated to courses. PhD students follow courses of the FEB PhD program, entitled \u201cBusiness Economics\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"chevron-orange\"><strong>&gt;<\/strong><\/span> Courses are taught in English and have to be selected jointly with both co-promotors of the thesis, among different research areas such as finance, entrepreneurship and economics. They are expected to teach 100 hours per year, which corresponds to 300 hours for the three last years of the program. These courses are in line with the PhD students&#8217; expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"titre3\">1st year to 4th year<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"chevron-orange\"><strong>&gt;<\/strong><\/span> PhD students are asked to participate to a certain number of research activities, such as research seminars, conference presentations and other activities required to the completion of their thesis.
