{"id":131610,"date":"2022-07-19T19:49:15","date_gmt":"2022-07-19T17:49:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/?page_id=131610"},"modified":"2025-09-09T18:19:56","modified_gmt":"2025-09-09T16:19:56","slug":"strategic-plan","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/the-school\/about-ieseg\/strategic-plan\/","title":{"rendered":"Strategic Plan 2022-2027: Inspire, Connect, Transform"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2>Inspire, Connect, Transform<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This new strategic plan is the result of a long process of co-creation that lasted more than a year and involved the entire I\u00c9SEG community: academic and administrative teams, students, graduates and partners from the socio-economic world.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This plan is deeply anchored in the values and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/the-school\/about-ieseg\/vision-mission-values\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Vision of the School<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>As an institution of higher education, I\u00c9SEG has a responsibility in terms of knowledge creation, research and innovation.<strong>\u202fInspiring <\/strong>young people by disseminating research in teaching, <strong>inspiring <\/strong>companies by co-constructing solutions with them to address their key challenges is therefore essential and is a fundamental part of the School&#8217; s mission. By <strong>connecting <\/strong>its very rich ecosystem, composed of its students and participants in executive education, graduates, companies and organizations, I\u00c9SEG intends to become a hub of collective intelligence at the service of entrepreneurship and innovation to respond together to today&#8217;s challenges. This response must not be purely theoretical but must be anchored in the environmental, social and economic <strong>transformation <\/strong>of organizations and society.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Being a major player in this societal transformation is I\u00c9SEG&#8217;s ambition for the coming years.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2>A strategic plan built around 5 major orientations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"titre3\">Anchored in solid fundamentals and displaying a new ambition, I\u00c9SEG will develop 5 major strategic orientations to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>INSPIRE<\/strong><br><span class=\"chevron-orange\">&gt;<\/span> To propose an engaging student learning experience<br><span class=\"chevron-orange\">&gt;<\/span> To become an interdisciplinary hub, integrating AI and humanities<\/li><li><strong>CONNECT<\/strong><br><span class=\"chevron-orange\">&gt;<\/span> To develop an entrepreneurial and innovative ecosystem<br><span class=\"chevron-orange\">&gt;<\/span> To be an intercultural, diverse and inclusive community<\/li><li><strong>TRANSFORM<\/strong>&nbsp;<br><span class=\"chevron-orange\">&gt;<\/span> To reinforce the systemic and global approach to sustainability<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"titre2\">The five strategic orientations for 2022-2027:<\/p>\n\n\n    <ul class=\"liste-icons\">\r\n                <li><img class=\"icon\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/picto-experience-apprentissage.svg\" alt=\"Picto\"><p><span class=\"titre3\">1. To propose an engaging student learning experience<\/span><br \/>\nIn this post-pandemic context and taking into account the changing expectations of students with regard to their studies, I\u00c9SEG will continue to develop its teaching and learning strategy focusing on the balance between knowledge, know-how and personal development, cutting-edge teaching content, adaptable delivery and experiential learning.<br \/>\nCaring for people is at the heart of I\u00c9SEG\u2019s values, which therefore places its students at the core of its teaching and learning project to help them discover themselves, to grow and find their place in society. This personalized attention will be reinforced with the aim of further engaging students, faculty and administrative staff in the learning experience.<\/p>\n<\/li>\r\n                <li><img class=\"icon\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/picto-hub.svg\" alt=\"Picto\"><p><span class=\"titre3\">2. To become an interdisciplinary hub, integrating AI and humanities <\/span><br \/>\nAs societal challenges are complex, there is a need for education and research that uses an interdisciplinary approach, so they can be addressed from different subject perspectives: philosophy, sociology, geopolitics, economics, data sciences and AI. <\/p>\n<\/li>\r\n                <li><img class=\"icon\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/picto-ecosysteme-innovant.svg\" alt=\"Picto\"><p><span class=\"titre3\">3. To develop an innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystem<\/span><br \/>\nThanks to the School\u2019s interdisciplinary approach, I\u00c9SEG\u2019s students will be well equipped to experiment, test, learn and become entrepreneurs or intrapreneurs. The skills developed through entrepreneurial experiences including creativity, responsibility, problem solving, critical thinking, are all key for leading and managing in an uncertain and fast-moving environment.<br \/>\nWith this new strategic plan, the School wants to speed up the development of an entrepreneurial ecosystem by working with its alumni network to foster innovation and transformation, including sustainability-related transformation. This ecosystem will have a local and global impact.<\/p>\n<\/li>\r\n                <li><img class=\"icon\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/picto-communaute.svg\" alt=\"Picto\"><p><span class=\"titre3\">4. To be an intercultural, diverse and inclusive community<\/span><br \/>\nUnderstanding how to collaborate with others, how to interact within diverse groups, and how to inspire a multicultural team are fundamental competences in today\u2019s world.<br \/>\nThis means not only understanding one\u2019s own way of working, studying and interacting but also recognizing and respecting diversity in order to advance cultural intelligence and thereby <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/the-school\/sustainability-at-ieseg\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">build an inclusive community<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/li>\r\n                <li><img class=\"icon\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/picto-durabilite.svg\" alt=\"Picto\"><p><span class=\"titre3\">5. To reinforce the systemic and global approach to sustainability<\/span><br \/>\nI\u00c9SEG has a systemic and voluntaristic approach to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ieseg.fr\/en\/the-school\/sustainability-at-ieseg\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">sustainability<\/a>. This includes raising staff and student awareness regarding grand challenges such as climate change.
