Professor, Information and Process Management<\/strong><\/p>\n

The John W. Poduska, Sr. Professor of Information and Process Management, Bentley University<\/strong><\/p>\n

M. Lynne Markus is The John W. Poduska, Sr. Professor of Information and Process Management at Bentley University. Professor Markus\u2019s research interests include the social and ethical issues in IT design and use, especially in the finance industry, and IT governance and organizational design in multinational enterprises, governmental organizations, and interorganizational arrangements.<\/p>\n

She is the author or editor of six books and over 100 other scholarly publications. She was named a Fellow of the Association for Information Systems in 2004, and, in 2008, she won the AIS Leo Award for Exceptional Lifetime Achievement in Information Systems. In 2012, she received the Bentley Mee Family Prize for Research, a lifetime achievement award. Professor Markus has extensive international experience, including more than three years in Asia, having taught at universities in Hong Kong (as Chair Professor of Electronic Business at City University of Hong Kong), Singapore (as Shaw Foundation Professor at Nanyang Business School), Portugal (as Fulbright-FLAD Chair in Market Globalization), Canada (as Fulbright\u2014Queen\u2019s Visiting Research Chair in the Management of Knowledge-Based Enterprises), and in France (at the Universit\u00e9 Paris Dauphine, Universit\u00e9 de Nantes, and l\u2019\u00c9cole de Management in Strasbourg).<\/p>\n

She is a member of the Advisory Boards of the Information Management Research Centre (Nanyang Business School, Singapore) and the Monieson Centre (Queen\u2019s University, Canada). Professor Markus holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Case Western Reserve University.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
