Having prior work experience in a similar field, I was looking for a program that would help me solidify my skill-set, all the while providing the opportunity to learn new things. When I saw the Investment Banking and Capital Markets program, I felt that it had the right combination of courses that would help me achieve my goals. The program covered all aspects of what I required, while also providing me with new learning techniques and the use of computer programing, which is essential in modern-day investment banking. Once the course started, I realized that it was intense, challenging and fulfilled all my expectations.<\/p>\n
I particularly enjoyed the cultural diversity at I\u00c9SEG. It was a great experience to learn from professors, most of whom were professionals in the industry. They encouraged stimulating discussion, and shared their experiences, which was very inspirational.<\/p>\n
The Bloomberg lab, which is a unique facility for students, was the facility that stood out to me the most. It allowed us to get accustomed to the terminals, which is very helpful in professional life.<\/p>\n
If you are passionate about Financial Markets or Investment Banking, this is the right course to study as it has a very balanced approach. The course is challenging, stimulating and provides all the tools required to be successful in a professional environment.<\/p>\n
Currently, I am working as Head of Strategy for a fin-tech startup called Waqfe, which is based out of Bahrain.
