The Master in Digital Marketing & Customer Experience Management is a program completely taught in English which prepare future managers to work in Digital Marketing and Customer Experience Management, two rapidly emerging and complementary fields that represent new ways of conducting marketing and improving customer experience.

The program focuses on combining theory with practical knowledge. This is the foundation for the development of all professionals who would like to improve their effective digital marketing strategy by capitalizing on customers’ data.

The Master in Digital Marketing & CRM program is one of those few that puts emphasis on both digital marketing and customer relationship management. As a professional who was already working in this field, I knew that customers are the basis of any digital marketing strategy and that this program values this approach. Additionally, courses were taught by experienced professionals working in the field, which helped us learn the practical aspects of digital marketing.

I enjoyed my time in France, especially in Lille. I loved how the city is small and everything is easily accessible. The people, even strangers, are friendly and helpful. Lille is a social hotspot with different nationalities and cultures, so I got to connect with interesting people from diverse backgrounds.

IÉSEG is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! You should make the best use of the academic resources and network. Hesitate less, always keep an open mind, and experience new things. IÉSEG is a wholesome experience that I will always remember and cherish. The main thing that I will take away from IÉSEG is the knowledge I gained from our master’s courses, and that I still use in my profession today. My journey at IÉSEG was full of great memories and experiences. From day one, integrations and gatherings were organized for newcomers. Students’ clubs planed several events for internationals to meet, network and integrate the French culture. Throughout the year, the courses are very rich, specialized, and open possibilities for a wide variety of career choices. We started our program with marketing and management essentials, complemented later with digital data analytics and consumer relationship management courses. Most of the classes are taught in an intensive format by qualified professors having experience in the professional world, allowing us to exchange and learn more about the different fields and jobs. On the other hand, individual assignments and group projects add a nice practical aspect to the theoretical part acquired in class helping to grasp the courses and build interpersonal skills.

I did my Master in Lille, a beautiful city in the north of France. Being very close to Paris, the Netherlands, Belgium, London, and Germany, I was able to plan weekend trips every now and then with my peers to different cities which made my journey even richer and filled with unforgettable stories.

During the last term, thanks to the events organized by IÉSEG’s career center, I was able to land an internship at L’Oréal Group in Paris that was later transformed into a full-time opportunity as a Global Product Manager on Luxury Fragrances Brands.

I chose IÉSEG because of the high quality of education and the professional connections that it could provide. The Master in Digital marketing & CRM seemed the right fit for me as I wanted to have a first-hand exposure to the world of digital.

I enjoyed attending lectures from various international professors whose background combines extensive academic and professional experience. I particularly enjoyed the CRM course as it introduced me to Salesforce in particular – the world leader in CRM – which is now my employer. In this course we had to complete several modules on Trailhead; a public learning experience platform to learn about digital transformation.

I work as an Account Executive at Salesforce Switzerland, acting as a trusted advisor for some of the largest companies in the high tech & manufacturing sphere. I help them accelerate their digital transformation and build a customer experience that meet and exceeds customer expectations.

When I completed my studies at IÉSEG, I moved back to my country and in July 2019, I started an internship in the digital team of Robilant Associati, the first and leading brand and design consultancy in Italy, located in Milan. In January 2020, I completed my internship, but I continued my job experience at Robilant Associati with the role of digital project manager.

The Master in Digital Marketing and CRM gave me the opportunity to acquire knowledge in the fields of project management, digital marketing and social media strategies, SEO and SEM, and allowed me to develop essential soft skills for my career path like the capability to efficiently work in teams, flexibility for rapidly changing contexts and an open mindset.

After graduation, my classmates and I chose different paths and moved to different countries but this didn’t stop us from staying in touch and sharing our experiences.

IÉSEG Network offers the opportunity to stay updated on the latest news in the School’s community and participate in different online events and networking.

To acquire a good positioning in the working context, an essential thing to consider is that even when our academic path is concluded we should never stop developing new skills and deepening our knowledge on digital marketing themes, which is a rapidly changing environment that is always subject to new rules and trends.

I work in an agency that collaborates with clients located all around the world and therefore we daily deal with realities for which the needs and interests have to meet international trends.

Please briefly outline chronologically your professional career path?

After completing my courses at IÉSEG in Lille, I earned a position with WarnerMedia (formerly Turner) in Paris as a Digital Producer in June 2016, where I put into practice the digital marketing strategy and digital content production across all of our TV channels’ (Cartoon Network, TNT, Boomerang, etc.) platforms for English-speaking African territories (20+ countries). I was promoted to Digital Executive at WarnerMedia in September 2018, and have since then been leading the digital marketing strategy and implementation across all consumer touchpoints including our websites, apps, social media, and paid digital campaigns.

After nearly 3 years at WarnerMedia, I’ve been recently hired to begin a new role with StudioCanal (Canal+ Group) in Paris as Global Marketing Project Manager. In this position, I will be working with the Global Marketing Team and in close coordination with our local offices to build and implement the digital marketing strategy of new films from first greenlight, to release in cinemas.
How did your studies and other opportunities offered at IÉSEG help you in terms of your career?

My time at IÉSEG afforded me enormous breadth of knowledge across all aspects of digital marketing, providing me with a very solid base required to successfully pivot my previously traditional marketing-focused career to digital. The coursework at IÉSEG was served by a variety of seasoned professionals and professors, allowing students like myself to gain real, actionable insights into the world of digital marketing, from strategy definition and implementation to website design & development. IÉSEG’s international faculty and multinational student body afforded me new experiences, points of view, and challenges that have no doubt contributed to my professional success.

I am still in touch with my classmates from IÉSEG and I meet my close friends every year. I am happy that I made a good bunch of international friends.

It’s important to have an international dimension in my current job because I work with 21 different nationalities in my company. The IÉSEG experience made me open-minded and observant about working with different cultures.

Before coming to IÉSEG I graduated in Industrial Engineering and worked for an e-commerce platform and non-profit organizations in Brazil. I chose the MSc in Strategy and Digital Transformation at IÉSEG for its hybrid content, which gave me management skills while updating my knowledge on the use of different technologies in business.

I loved my experience at IÉSEG – the professors’ openness, the content learnt and the friends I made. I found the MSc in Strategy and Digital Transformation to be a dynamic and comprehensive program, with a very diversified group of students and professors from all over Europe and the USA.

All the courses were very useful and linked among each other. I particularly enjoyed the course on ‘Legal Aspects of Innovation’ and I was grateful for having French classes every Friday, which helped to learn the local language and culture, and to get to know students from other programs. I am currently doing an internship at BCG (Boston Consulting Group) in Paris, in the business support team, and I am planning to stay in Paris to grow my career once I graduate.

I would advise anyone who consider taking the program to apply without doubts and to take advantage of all the opportunities IÉSEG and the program offer. If I had to sum up my studies at IÉSEG in a few words, I would say – friends for life, an open mind to different cultures, and a lot of knowledge!
