With “IÉSEG Tomorrow,” IÉSEG aims to evolve from being a leader in post-secondary education into a leader in lifelong learning
With “IÉSEG Tomorrow”, IÉSEG is embarking on a far-reaching transformation of its model.
In addition to its existing degree programs, IÉSEG aims to establish itself across the entire “High School – Higher Education – Lifelong Learning” continuum, serving both businesses and individuals.
Starting in summer 2027, IÉSEG will launch a content marketplace offering flexible, customized learning formats, ranging from bite-sized learning or micro-learning modules lasting just a few hours to multi-day certificates, covering key areas such as artificial intelligence, CSR, leadership and entrepreneurship.
By giving all its students access to this marketplace for five years upon graduation, IÉSEG is making a strong commitment: every graduate will be able to benefit from the School’s expertise and support throughout their professional development and keep their skills up to date, long after earning their degree.
“Our society has never had a greater need for learning and training than it does today. In a rapidly changing world, where career cycles are becoming shorter and technology can quickly make technical skills obsolete, regularly updating our knowledge and skills is once again becoming essential. For businesses, it is a vital driver for managing transformation and developing the skills they will need in the future. For employees, it is a prerequisite for remaining active in shaping their careers and strengthening their employability. The transformation IÉSEG is undertaking, becoming a ‘School for Life’ that remains available throughout its graduates’ careers, will strengthen its role as a key player in higher education, both in France and internationally.“
Christophe CATOIR – President, Adecco & Executive Committee Member, The Adecco Group and Chairman of IÉSEG’s Board of Trustees
In a higher education landscape undergoing significant transformation, IÉSEG has demonstrated the strength and resilience that enable it to invest confidently in the future, for the benefit of its students and graduates.
IÉSEG is investing in the student experience, particularly at an international level, with the opening of its new campus in Montreal in January 2026.
It is also investing in career development, offering a Career Program that students and recruiters recognize as providing high-quality, efficient, and personalized professional support.
“Transformation is not an option; it is essential if we are to remain in control of our destiny and shape our future rather than simply undergo it. To achieve this, we will build on our strengths: our independence, our financial stability, our capacity for innovation, the reputation of our brand, the recognition our programs receive in French and international rankings, the expertise of our professors, and the trust placed in us by our students, their parents, our graduates, and our corporate partners.”
Caroline ROUSSEL, Dean of IÉSEG
The current model: IÉSEG, France’s leading post-secondary business school
Thanks to its Grande École Program (ranked No. 1 among five-year PGE programs in all major French rankings and 24th in the Financial Times’ 2026 ranking of the world’s best Masters in Management) and its Bachelor in International Business (ranked No. 2 in French three-year Bachelor rankings), IÉSEG is France’s leading post-secondary business school. It is also highly regarded by recruiters, who value the caliber of its young graduates.
IÉSEG intends to strengthen this leading position in the years ahead, building on four core pillars: academic excellence, career development, international exposure, and experiential learning.
–Academic excellence is underpinned by a faculty of 231 permanent professors representing 53 nationalities, recognized for their expertise and the quality of their research.
– IÉSEG makes an unparalleled investment in career development: 6,000 hours of credited and mandatory Career Program activities, 85 industry experts specializing in different sectors, and, by the end of the study program, more than 18 months of professional experience for PGE students. As a result, 94% of graduates secure their first job within five months of graduation.
– International exposure is an integral part of the IÉSEG experience: every year, 1,600 students spend a semester abroad and 1,900 internships are completed outside France. The 50 highest-performing first-year students also spend a semester in Montréal, offering a unique level of immersion and intercultural exposure.
– As for experiential learning, IÉSEG believes that students learn best by doing. Gamification, supervised projects, corporate challenges, and contributions from industry professionals are all integral to the curriculum. AI now plays a central role: 100% of students are trained in its applications, including in Sales courses, where they practice using MuchBetter, an AI-enhanced sales simulation platform. Students also have access to an AI tutor to help them study alongside their face-to-face classes.
“More than ever, enrolling in a Grande École Program is a sound investment for students and their families. Its long-term approach enables students to grow over time while facilitating a seamless transition from high school to higher education. Its many opportunities allow each student to shape and personalize their own path, gain hands-on experience, and broaden their horizons through numerous international opportunities. Combined with a rich and career-focused student association life and a high-level Career Program, the PGE is a genuine career accelerator, preparing students to take on positions of responsibility as soon as they enter the workforce.”

The future model: IÉSEG, a leader in lifelong learning
Against the backdrop of extremely rapid technological change, the average lifespan of a technical skill is now no more than two years. According to the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2025, 44% of workers’ skills will become obsolete over the next five years and 59% of workers will need reskilling or upskilling by 2030 — yet one in five workers will not have access to it. Lifelong learning is therefore more important than ever!
“A Grande École can no longer focus solely on initial education. It must also consider what it can offer its graduates five, ten, or twenty years after graduation, and how it can support the companies that employ them, particularly in addressing the major challenges of transformation. This question lies at the heart of IÉSEG Tomorrow: how can IÉSEG become a long-term partner for its students, graduates, and the companies that place their trust in it?”
Maria CASTILLO, Director of Strategic Development Projects at IÉSEG
With “IÉSEG Tomorrow,” the School aims to establish itself as a leading institution across the “High School – Higher Education – Lifelong Learning” continuum. IÉSEG will thus expand its learning offering through hybrid, modular, flexible, and customizable formats. It will support both businesses and individuals in acquiring new expertise, updating their skills, and developing new competencies, in response to their specific training needs.
This strategy reflects major trends shaping the sector: the growing importance of hybrid and digital formats; strong demand for training in AI, CSR, leadership, and soft skills; and a preference for short formats that provide immediately applicable expertise.
The lifelong learning offering will be structured around five complementary formats: bite-sized learning modules (1 to 3 hours), microlearning units (4 to 8 hours), traditional format courses (9 to 14 hours), micro-credentials (2 to 4 days), and certificates (5 to 12 days). These formats will be available in person, hybrid, or online. This offering will cover themes related to strategic corporate transformations, such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, CSR…, as well as cross-functional topics like leadership, negotiation, or entrepreneurship.
“Designed to adapt to everyone’s needs and circumstances, and delivered through an AI-powered platform, this offering will enable learners to build step by step a fully personalized skill-development pathway. The courses will be based on a stackable model: each module will certify a specific skill which, combined with others, will lead to a certificate or even a degree. This approach will enable everyone to learn when they need to, on the subjects they need, at their own pace, without giving up on long-term ambitions.”
Maria CASTILLO, Director of Strategic Development Projects at IÉSEG
Tested during the 2026 IÉSEG Summer Workshop, a true laboratory for IÉSEG’s new teaching approaches, the initiative saw 107 participants earn one of the six micro-certifications offered.
The micro-certificates named “Mastering AI for Strategic Business Success,” “Business Takeover,” and “Coaching & Mentoring” will be launched. The “Strategic Negotiation” and “Women in Leadership” certificates will further expand the existing portfolio.
To host this new lifelong learning offering, IÉSEG will launch its own content marketplace. Powered by AI, the platform will provide highly personalized recommendations and content. IÉSEG will invest €1.5 million in developing the marketplace, which will ultimately host more than 500 pieces of content across 20 areas of expertise. More than 150 professors, graduates, and industry experts will contribute to the creation of the modules.
The value proposition of “IÉSEG Tomorrow” is clear: to ensure that all graduates receive support throughout their professional lives to maintain their employability and keep their skills up to date. This commitment is underpinned by a personalized, modular, hybrid, and stackable content offering adapted to every stage of a career: early career, mid-career, career transition, and late career.
In addition, IÉSEG has made the strong commitment to provide 100% of its young graduates with free access to its content marketplace for five years after graduation, supporting them from the very beginning of their professional lives. The marketplace will be made available gradually to businesses (B2B) and individuals (B2C) looking to acquire new expertise or update their skills.
IÉSEG Tomorrow is an ambitious plan. We are fortunate to be leading this transformation by building on very solid foundations. IÉSEG is already recognized as one of the leading Business Schools in France and Europe. Our goal is that, within three years, the School will also be recognized as one of the most innovative institutions in the way it supports individuals and businesses throughout their professional lives. This is the way we are building the future of IÉSEG together, and it will form the foundation of our next strategic plan.
