I have been working at Caixa Econômica Federal, a large public bank in Brazil, since 2012. With the encouragement of the bank, I joined IÉSEG to pursue my Master in International Accounting, Audit & Control. At that time, I was a Junior Auditor, and when I returned to Brazil I was promoted to Bank Manager. In my current role, I lead a team of bankers, supporting them to reach business goals and to provide the best solutions to our clients. My mission is also to develop a leadership style that motivates people and creates strong and lasting relationships.

I really appreciated the dynamic classes and the way the program was connected to the professional world. The professors gave us strong academic knowledge but also practical perspectives, which helped a lot. I also felt supported in my professional growth. During the program, I was able to prepare for and achieve two important certifications: Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA). This was one of the highlights of my time at IÉSEG.

I especially enjoyed Simulation for Decision Making because it showed the many aspects that need to be considered when making decisions, especially in leadership positions. I also appreciated the CMA preparation course, as it gave a complete view of the knowledge required for a management accountant and was very useful for my certification process.

The program gave me a solid background in accounting, auditing, and management control, as well as important skills like teamwork and problem-solving. This helped me to grow professionally and to take on more responsibilities with confidence. It also supported me in obtaining international certifications that continue to add value to my career. I am very grateful for my journey at IÉSEG, both for the academic experience and for the personal growth that came with it.
