2019 IÉSEG Entrepreneur competition: the startups Gustave and Le Frigo rewarded

2019 IÉSEG Entrepreneur Prize

On Tuesday, March 19 2019, six companies represented by IÉSEG alumni/students presented their entrepreneurial projects to a jury of experts in the final stage of the 2019 IÉSEG Entrepreneur competition *.

Following a conference on the theme of “From startup to scale-up: how to successfully grow one’s company”, the jury announced the results:

  • The Caisse d’Epargne Hauts de France (partner of the IÉSEG Incubator) awarded the 2019 IÉSEG Entrepreneur Prize (8,000 euros) to Clara Foache (2017 alumna) and Thomas Bonnenfant, who represented the startup Gustave. The widget Gustave is positioned as a turnkey solution and is easy to use, “offering website visitors of your e-commerce the possibility to try before buying, where and when they wish.”
  • IÉSEG Network awarded the “coup de coeur” jury prize (3,000 euros) to Augustin Peugnet (IÉSEG student) from ‘Le Frigo’, a startup that focuses on the installation of connected refrigerators in workspaces.

In addition to recognizing the work of the two winners (members of the IÉSEG Incubator), the jury also gave a special mention to another company finalist, Onbrane (a French Fintech company).

*The IÉSEG Entrepreneur Prize, a competition open to IÉSEG students and alumni, is organized by IÉSEG Network (the IÉSEG alumni association) and the IÉSEG Incubator. The jury was made up of representatives from the following companies/organizations: Caisse d’Epargne Hauts de France, ZTP, BPI France, IpaidThat, Caisse d’Epargne and IÉSEG Network.
