Colloquium Gesica – IÉSEG at the National Assembly

The lawyers’ network GESICA and IÉSEG School of Management organize a colloquium on Thursday 12th of September 2013, at the National Assembly.

From 9am and 12am, participants will discuss a current topic and its effects: “Labour Law, a brake on competitiveness?”

French competitivity is at the center of current debate. Are our labour laws negatively influencing our competitiveness? Some figures: the French Labour Code contains over 10,000 articles (compared with 50 in Switzerland). In France a payslip has over 24 lines (compared with four in Belgium).

Speakers include François Taquet, who initiated this colloquium, and who is an expert on labour law. He is a Professor in Executive Education at IÉSEG School of Management and the author of parliamentary amendments and many books.
