32 new professors and researchers join IÉSEG for the 2025-2026 academic year
For the new academic year, IÉSEG is delighted to welcome 32 new professors and postdoctoral researchers from all around the world. They strengthen a faculty already recognized for its diversity, academic excellence, and strong commitment to innovative teaching and high-impact research.
As of September 1, 2025, IÉSEG welcomes 26 professors with a research mission, 1 postdoctoral researcher and 5 Professors of Practice, representing 15 nationalities. They will join IÉSEG’s campuses in Lille and Paris-La Défense.
An ever more international academic community
With faculty members now representing a total of 56 nationalities, IÉSEG continues to demonstrate its international dimension and attractiveness in a highly competitive academic market: nearly 1,800 applications were received this year. The new recruits hold PhDs from leading institutions worldwide and bring with them the richness of their academic and professional backgrounds.
Faculty expertise aligned with tomorrow’s challenges
Their research covers themes at the heart of IÉSEG’s strategic priorities and today’s global challenges: sustainable finance, artificial intelligence, logistics and supply chain, responsible management, sustainable marketing, and more.
This diversity of expertise reflects the School’s ambition to develop interdisciplinary knowledge that inspires students while actively contributing to the evolution of organizations and society.
A reaffirmed commitment
Each year, IÉSEG invests nearly 20% of its budget (over €20 million) in research, highlighting the strategic importance of academic and scientific innovation within its institutional project. The arrival of these new faculty members further strengthens this collective dynamic centered on excellence, openness, and social impact.
For Caroline ROUSSEL, Dean of IÉSEG, this new recruitment wave reflects the School’s vitality and ambition.
“These appointments fully align with our mission to provide students with high-quality teaching supported by cutting-edge research, as well as with our goal of rolling out our new educational approach, ‘Becoming’. By welcoming these new professors, IÉSEG continues to grow and reaffirms its identity as an international, humanistic, and committed management school, dedicated to serving its students and society.”
