Learning business across three continents with the International Triple Bachelor in Business

Launched in 2024, the International Triple Bachelor in Business is a prestigious collaboration among three renowned institutions: IÉSEG School of Management in France, Rabat Business School in Morocco, and HEC Montréal in Canada. This four‑year program is designed for students with a strong international mindset and an excellent academic level, offering a rare opportunity to study on three continents while earning three internationally recognized bachelor’s degrees.

What does it really mean to study business across three continents? For students enrolled in the International Triple Bachelor in Business, the answer lies in daily intercultural encounters, academic rigor, and a learning journey that takes them from Africa to Europe and North America. Through their voices, discover how this unique program is shaping a new generation of graduates ready to work across different cultures, countries and markets.

Going abroad right from the first semester teaches us to step out of our comfort zone “

The International Triple Bachelor starts with two semesters of courses at Rabat Business School. During this year, students follow a broad set of foundational courses — including fundamentals of management, principles of economics and marketing, statistics, geopolitics— alongside professional development components. This first year introduces students to academic life in a global context and prepares them for the next stage of the program at IÉSEG in France and later at HEC Montréal.

Flore, first-year student in the International Triple Bachelor program, shares her experience :

“My first semester in Rabat was a discovery on every level: a new country, a new continent, a new culture… Leaving home alone to go far away was a challenge for me, and that is precisely what allowed me to quickly gain independence and open my mind. The people here are very warm and welcoming, with a true sense of sharing.

We are a small class of about thirty students, with personalized follow-up. The professors are very available, easy to talk to, and invested in our academic success. The classes are stimulating and interactive: there isn’t a single class where we just take notes; we participate a lot, work in groups, and set up projects. Even for the subjects I liked less to begin with, such as mathematics, the teachers manage to make the content interesting because it is very concrete.

The diversity in the classroom is very enriching: there are many Moroccan students, but also international profiles (Turkey, Qatar), and a few French students. This forces us to adapt, to open up, and to understand different ways of working and different points of view. Everyone mixes quite well in the class; we all felt well-integrated very quickly, thanks in particular to the warm welcome and openness of the local students.

I would say that going abroad to live in a very different culture right from the first semester of study teaches us to step out of our comfort zone, to reach out to others, and to adapt. It is an experience that teaches us a lot, and I think it prepares us well for the rest of this international journey.”

The second year in France: “Moving from Rabat to Paris has been very enriching”

The second year at IÉSEG allows students to deepen their knowledge and skills through more in-depth business and management courses, and more advanced techniques and methods. In this intermediate year, students learn International Economics, Operations Management, People Management, Financial Accounting, and Ethics and CSR, among others.

This intermediate year also strengthens the students’ international and multicultural mindset and managerial competences, as they have the opportunity to choose elective courses in line with their career aspirations, for example: FinTech, Digital Transformation, Negotiation, etc. The students are required to conclude their second year with an internship where they could apply their learning in international business settings.

Thanks to their year at IÉSEG, students are immersed in the educational, cultural and business environments in Europe through its campus in Paris-La Défense.

“What stands out to me in the International Triple Bachelor program is the opportunity to study in different academic and cultural environments. Moving from Rabat to Paris has been very enriching, thanks to the quality of education and diversity we can find here. I’m looking forward to continuing this journey at HEC Montréal next year!” Ibrahim Jabri, 2nd-year student from Morocco.

Kamal, also a student in the second year, coming from Morocco, shares his view of this experience so far: “What I value most about the International Triple Degree program is how much it challenges the way I think. Studying in France has pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me become more adaptable, independent, and clear about my goals in an international environment.”

HEC Montréal: two years dedicated to specialization and professional growth

Once students reach HEC Montréal for the third and fourth years of the International Triple Bachelor, the program transitions from broad foundational training to deeper specialization within the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). At HEC Montréal, students can personalize their curriculum around their professional interests, choosing from a range of areas such as finance, international business, marketing, entrepreneurship, analytics, and more. Specialization is complemented by applied learning through case studies, business simulations, professional internships, conferences, and project-based courses, allowing students to gain practical experience while deepening expertise in their chosen field.

This phase also aligns academic work with career goals, preparing graduates for international markets, consulting, finance, operations, or entrepreneurial roles. By the end of the fourth year, students have developed strong functional expertise alongside international business insight, culminating in earning the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from HEC Montréal in addition to the degrees from Rabat Business School and IÉSEG.

One program, three degrees, countless opportunities

Over four years, students earn three bachelor’s degrees. But beyond academic recognition, students gain the personal growth that comes from adapting to new countries, teaching styles and different expectations.

“This transcontinental triple Bachelor degree program offers students a unique, international learning journey for four years in three globally-renowned business schools. But beyond academic excellence and recognition, I believe that students gain personal and professional growth that comes from adapting to new countries, cultures, teaching and working styles. After completing this program, students should have the competences and confidence to pursue their career aspirations anywhere in the world.”
