My experience in the Master in International Business at IÉSEG pushed me far beyond my comfort zone. Moving to a new country where I didn’t know the language or anyone was initially challenging, but it ultimately shaped me into a more independent and resilient individual. Beyond academics, IÉSEG fostered a holistic learning environment where growth came not only from the classroom but also from experience. Through numerous group projects and multicultural interactions, I developed strong collaboration skills and learned how to adapt quickly to unfamiliar situations. It also encouraged me to explore opportunities I might not have otherwise considered, helping me grow both personally and professionally.

As an International Business Master’s student, I particularly enjoyed my marketing and accounting courses. Before joining the program, I had no background in marketing. However, Professor Alberto’s teaching style and challenging syllabus pushed me to think creatively and step outside of my limits. He helped me see marketing from a broader, more strategic perspective, which ultimately sparked my interest in the field. On the other hand, I found accounting highly rewarding. Although it can be complex, Dr. Pratik’s structured and disciplined approach made it both clear and engaging. I appreciated the logical and systematic nature of the subject—I tend to enjoy that kind of rigor.

Today, as a marketing analyst at an international company like Storck, I can confidently say that IÉSEG played a key role in preparing me for my career. The program exposed me to diverse, multicultural environments that mirror the reality of global workplaces. Coming from a science background and transitioning into international business also taught me how to be adaptable and continuously learn—skills that are essential in my current role. While the Master’s program was broad, it encouraged me to think bigger, challenge my limits, and approach problems with a business-owner mindset. It instilled in me the confidence to pursue ambitious goals and the mindset to never settle for less, both of which continue to guide my professional journey.
