Before joining IÉSEG for my Master’s degree I was working as a Content Marketing Specialist. I am also a graduate of the Bachelor in International Business from IÉSEG, and as I was very happy with the exposure and experience I got during my Bachelor’s, that’s why I decided to pursue with the Master in Digital Marketing & CRM at IÉSEG.
I particularly enjoyed the diversity of students at the school. Interacting with and learning from people with different backgrounds… I believe nothing can replace this experience.
I remember a course on Google Ads where we had to do a real-life project with a real Google Ads account and pitch the idea to our professor. This really helped in putting theoretical knowledge into practice and come up with recommendations to help out a business.
As an international student in Lille, I found that there was a lot of fun and accessible activities to explore French culture. It was very exciting to meet new people, make friends and travel. One major advantage of studying in Lille is that you can walk around the whole city and rarely need to take public transportation.
The students and professors at IÉSEG were amazing and that is a very fond memory I will cherish forever. I’ve had the opportunity to make some amazing friends who are spread out across the world. One very specific memory for me would be one of the professors telling me “Don’t worry about the grades it’s more important that you understand what is being taught.”
I am currently working as a Digital Content Officer for an automobile manufacturer. My goal for the foreseeable future is to work in the automotive industry and improve the digitization of processes in this sector.
If I had some advice for future students: keep an open mind, meet new people, make friends and memories! This program is an opportunity for you to learn about the world of digital marketing and apply it as well.
