I am currently working at PwC France as a Financial Auditor within the Real Estate & Private Equity department. I primarily work with clients in the asset management sector, particularly private equity funds and real estate funds. My role involves analyzing financial statements, testing asset valuations, challenging the models used by asset management companies, and ensuring that financial accounts comply with accounting and regulatory standards.

My experience at IÉSEG above all taught me academic rigor and versatility. Through the Grande École Program (major in Finance) I gained a strong technical foundation in corporate finance, accounting, and financial modeling. Beyond the technical aspects, IÉSEG also enabled me to develop transferable skills such as working in multicultural teams, project management, and the ability to communicate financial concepts in a clear and structured way.

The courses I enjoyed the most were those related to corporate finance and Advanced Firm Valuation. For instance, the Firm Valuation & Corporate Finance course helped me gain an in-depth understanding of valuation mechanisms, which is now directly useful in my role as an auditor when I challenge fund or real estate asset valuations. I also particularly appreciated the Financial Markets course, as it provided a practical understanding of how markets operate and the environment in which institutional investors evolve.

The program prepared me very well by combining theory and practice. The courses gave me a solid foundation in finance, as well as in accounting and auditing, which are essential in my current role. The many group projects taught me how to collaborate effectively—an essential skill at PwC, where teamwork is central. Finally, the international environment at IÉSEG, with courses taught in English and multicultural exchanges, gave me a strong global outlook, which aligns well with my ambition to continue developing my career in finance, ideally in international environments such as asset management or investment. In the future, my goal is to work abroad and further specialize in private equity.
