IÉSEG School of Management kindly invites you to attend the 54th Eurasia Business and Economics Society Conference (EBES). Co-hosted with the Istanbul Economic Research Association, this three-day conference brings together scholars to share and discuss recent research across business, economics, and finance – including (but not limited to) macro- and micro-economics, international finance, corporate governance, banking, accounting, management, marketing, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and fintech.
Special Session — How to Publish in Finance Journals?

This practical session brings together experienced editors to discuss what makes a submission stand out, how to position contributions, navigate revise-and-resubmits, and avoid common pitfalls. The panel will also address emerging topics (open science, transparency, replication packages, and AI-assisted writing) and offer tailored advice for PhD students and early-career researchers.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Amine TARAZI (TBC)
Amine Tarazi is Professor of Economics and Finance at the University of Limoges, where he directs the LAPE research center; he is also a Senior Fellow of the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF). His research focuses on banking, financial stability, bank risk, and prudential regulation. He serves on several editorial boards, including Associate Editor roles at the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, the Journal of Financial Stability, and the European Journal of Finance, and Editor of Islamic Economics and Finance Letters.

REGISTRATION
Registration for the 54th EBES Conference is now open. For now, only two days of the conference (January 8th and 9th) will be in-person and the last day will be online/virtual.
At least one author must be registered for each accepted paper to be included in the Conference Program.
