2025 IÉSEG Graduate Employment Outcomes – CGE Survey

Each year, the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE) analyzes employment outcomes of recent graduates, highlighting the programs offered by French Grandes Écoles and the recognition of their degrees by employers.

For this new edition, more than thirty management schools took part in the 2025 CGE Employment Survey, conducted during the first quarter of 2025 among graduates of the Grande École Program, class of 2024.

The survey reveals a clear slowdown in the job market for recent graduates: while the majority still manage to secure employment within a few months after graduation, the process is less smooth than before. Job searches are taking longer, a trend affecting both engineers and managers, reflecting a contraction in hiring. However, there is a moderate increase in salaries.

At IÉSEG, the survey results remain at a very high level, demonstrating the quality of its teaching, the excellence of its degrees, and the strong focus placed on student employability through a rigorous Career Program.

Key findings:

  • 92.6% of employed graduates found their first job within 4 months of leaving the School. Nearly 70% were recruited even before finishing their studies, and 82.6% signed a permanent contract (CDI).
  • The average annual gross salary upon graduation (France and abroad, including bonuses) is €51,750.
  • 15% of young graduates began their careers abroad, and over a third currently hold a position linked to CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), whether in environmental, societal, or ethical dimensions.
