Ophélie Vanbremeersch (Lunettes de ZAC) wins the 3rd edition of the CSR Challenge organized by IÉSEG CONSEIL Lille

On Thursday February 3rd, 2022, more than 200 people attended the third edition of the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Challenge organized by IÉSEG CONSEIL Lille, IÉSEG’s Junior Enterprise, one of the top 6 Junior Enterprises in France.

Launched in 2020, this pitch competition aims to promote responsible initiatives by students in the Hauts-de-France region, whether they are at university or in business and engineering schools, and to empower them to take action and make an impact on the world, both socially and environmentally.

Among the 15 projects proposed, IÉSEG CONSEIL Lille selected 5 finalists who were then able to benefit from coaching and public speaking sessions offered by Eloquentia, a non-profit organization, in order to develop an impactful pitch for the final. Each finalist then had 7 minutes to present their project in an original and dynamic way.

The 5 finalists of this third CSR Challenge were:

  • Pococo, represented by Louise Guymard and Charlotte Freneau-Paul from ITM Lille-Douai is a collaborative and connected vegetable garden installed in elementary schools to raise awareness among children about organic and local food and environmental issues.
  • Lunettes de ZAC is a start-up created by Ophélie Vanbremeersch, an MSc in International Business student at IÉSEG, involved in the collection and reconditioning of glasses at prices accessible to all.
  • Eco Togo, represented by Mélyne Pelissier and Chiara Di Giacomo, students at ISA Lille, is a project aiming at making women in Togo financially independent through sustainable cultivation and farming.
  • Le Dôme, represented by Capucine Delobette and Marion Garabé from HEI, is an eco-responsible third place in the form of a mobile urban greenhouse that aims to open the discussion on the preservation of the environment and biodiversity.
  • The Golf Project, represented by Lucie Maldonato from IAE Lille, is a project to clean up the seabed in Greece.

After deliberation, the jury, composed of representatives of IÉSEG and Coeur Handisport and of partner companies and organizations of IÉSEG CONSEIL Lille (BNP Paribas, Decathlon, the European Metropolis of Lille, the Center for Young Business Leaders) awarded the Jury Prize of 1,200€ to “Lunettes de Zac” and the “Coup de Coeur” prize of 750€ to Pococo. Finally, the public present in the room rewarded Eco Togo with the Public Prize of 550€.

See you next year for a new edition of the CSR Challenge!
