The future of (big) “text analytics”: Dr. Kristof Coussement interviews Tom H.C. Anderson

Dr. Kristof Coussement, Professor in Marketing Analytics at IÉSEG School of Management and Academic Director of the School’s MSc in Big Data Analytics for Business, recently interviewed Tom H. C. Anderson, Managing Partner and Founder of Anderson Analytics, on a series of issues related to “text analytics”.

Text analytics refers to the application of text mining techniques to help provide strategic insights in a variety of business/industry sectors (for example in terms of marketing /market research).

In 2005 Anderson Analytics became the first in the market research and consumer insights industry to leverage modern text analytics, and has won several awards for its work in the text mining field. It recently launched a new next generation text analytics platform called OdinText that has been featured in several high-profile industry case studies.
