IÉSEG extends its collaborations and partnerships with Luxury, Fashion and Cosmetics brands
IÉSEG continues to develop collaborations with French and international stakeholders in the luxury, fashion and beauty sectors, which are highly sought after by our students/young graduates.
Through such partnerships, IÉSEG students benefit from dedicated recruitment sessions with major brands such as Guerlain, Hermès or Estée Lauder Companies. Companies are also invited to present their company/company culture to students during courses and to discuss their priority issues with them.
For example, the students of the MSc in Fashion Management benefited from full courses delivered by professionals with work experience in Marc Jacobs, Armani, Christian Dior, Vuitton and Ermenegildo Zegna.
They also discover the internal workings of these companies thanks to visits organized by IÉSEG in France and Italy (for example at Dolce e Gabbana, Gucci, Versace, etc.) and via internships. In addition, the students in this program develop their luxury culture by attending events such as the Vogue Fashion Festival, the Hermès Carré Club or via showroom visits.
Barbara Slavich, Academic Director of the MSc in Fashion Management says that this program “prepares future managers of Fashion and Luxury companies to work confidently in competitive global environments. The program offers participants the opportunity to interact with a dedicated professional faculty and international guest lecturers, specialized in fashion and luxury management; to visit companies including their ateliers, showrooms, and flagship stores; and to learn about new trends and successful business models in Fashion and across segments, from luxury companies to fast fashion retailers.”
Students in IÉSEG’s different programs are given opportunities to meet with major brands to complement the theoretical contributions from the classroom and strengthen their connections with companies in the sector. Jean-Christophe JOURDE, Estée Lauder Companies France explains: “In the framework of this project, students have the opportunity to discover the universe of cosmetics, which includes strategic issues such as CSR, providing a new perspective thanks to IÉSEG’s teaching.”
