Master in Fashion Management, 2024
Sales and Marketing Assistant, Sotheby’s International Realty
Tunisia
To conclude my Master in Fashion Management at IÉSEG, I completed my final internship at Galeries Lafayette as a Marketing Project Assistant, working on customer loyalty initiatives. This experience allowed me to contribute to strategic projects within one of France’s most iconic retail groups. I then chose to strengthen my understanding of the retail environment by joining Aesop in a sales role, which allowed me to gain first-hand experience in customer relations and better understand the dynamics at the point of sale.
I am currently pursuing an MBA in Digital Marketing Business while working at Sotheby’s International Realty, a global leader in luxury real estate, as a Sales and Marketing Assistant. My responsibilities are varied and include administrative support for agents (preparing key documents for client interactions), visual merchandising (ensuring high-end presentation of window displays and property materials), digital listing management (optimizing online visibility across platforms), and event coordination for exclusive client events.
Throughout my professional journey so far, I have realized how valuable many of the courses I took at IÉSEG have been in practice. Classes such as In-Store Consumer Behaviour, Visual Merchandising, Digital Marketing, luxury related industries, events in the fashion industry… provided me with solid foundations that I directly apply in my daily responsibilities. This strong academic background continues to guide me as I grow within the demanding and international environment of luxury real estate. Group projects taught me how to collaborate effectively, adapt to different working styles, and communicate ideas with clarity and impact. I also strengthened my presentation skills, from structuring a compelling argument to designing visually engaging and impactful slides.
Among the courses I most appreciated, “Events in the Fashion Industry” stood out due to a real client brief from a beauty brand, which allowed us to design and present a full event concept. This highly practical exercise strengthened my interest in event management and creative project development. “Fashion History” was also particularly enriching, offering both cultural depth and useful anecdotes that I continue to use in professional settings.
This Master’s program played a key role in shaping my career path in the luxury industry. Exposure to a wide range of professions helped me refine my ambitions while identifying my strengths and areas for improvement. I also greatly valued the dedicated career support, which helped me build essential tools such as CV writing, cover letters, and interview preparation, giving me confidence in my job search.
Beyond academics, IÉSEG provided a highly formative experience through group projects, presentations, and case studies, which strengthened my collaboration, communication, and storytelling skills. Most importantly, the program allowed me to meet inspiring peers, professors, and professionals whose guidance and support continue beyond graduation.
