A look back at IÉSEG’s Entrepreneur Day 2024

On Thursday, March 7, 2024, over a hundred students, graduates, professors and administrative staff took part in the Entrepreneur Day, a day dedicated to entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs at IÉSEG. A start-up forum, conferences and a networking evening: each highlight was an opportunity to learn, be inspired, develop your network and exchange ideas around this theme.

The first highlight of the day was the opportunity for participants to meet and interact with student and graduate entrepreneurs, who showcased their projects and demonstrated the power of the entrepreneurial spirit among the School’s community. The following start-ups were present:

INSPIRING CONFERENCES CO-ORGANIZED BY STUDENT ASSOCIATIONS

During the first conference of the day, entitled “Being a student and an entrepreneur – they did it!” and organized by Genius IÉSEG (an association on the Paris – La Défense campus which aims to introduce students to the world of start-ups), the audience had the opportunity to hear inspiring stories of current and former IÉSEG students who have become entrepreneurs. Thus, Emerick BRICAUD, Tristan FERTE, and Martina MOLINARO, shared their personal experience, challenges and successes to inspire as many people as possible.

Then, IÉSEG CONSEIL Paris wanted to highlight success stories wanted to highlight success stories with a conference featuring two alumni: Antoine GODFROY, founder of Sleeq, and Jonathan ALEV, founder of JABB. These two CEOs, who have managed to generate several million euros in sales in just a few years, spoke in all modesty about the hidden part of the iceberg… their mistakes, failures and the strategic choices that led to their success. This session was particularly well received by the audience for its authenticity and honesty.

Finally, a conference co-organized by Elina COHEN-PEIRANO and the “How I Met Your Start-Up” association gave the floor to Camille BRÉGEAUT and Clémentine GRANET. The two founders of the cosmetics brand ‘Les Petits Prödiges‘, addressed the theme of female entrepreneurship and the specific challenges faced by women entrepreneurs. They also spoke about fundraising and the strategic coherence of such action, drawing on their personal experience.
