“Boundarise” Conference, organized by the student association ‘La Capsule’

BoundariseOn Saturday, February 29, the team from the student association ‘La Capsule’ organized the first edition of its annual Wikistage conference “Boundarise” in Lille. The concept was to have a number of talks to share ideas about changing the world.

In front of an audience of around 100 people, nine speakers with atypical backgrounds came to share their ideas or inspiring stories.

Among the speakers was Arthur Aumoite, a visually impaired person whose video was featured on social networks when he was removed from a supermarket with his dog Loya. Olivier Lebel, former director of the Red Cross, and Aroua Biril, an expert in cyber security, also gave talks.

The team chose the theme ‘Boundarise’, to combine the words ‘boundaries’ and ‘arise.’ This conveys the association’s desire to break down boundaries and preconceived ideas, but also to help everyone get out of their routine and comfort zone in order to take action for their lives, for the world and for society.

The IÉSEG Capsule (formerly TEDxIÉSEGLille) has decided to adopt the Wikistage format for the first time this year. The Wikistage Association aims to welcome volunteers to discuss or share “Ideas for Change.”
