Executive Education: IÉSEG welcomes Indian Institute of Management Lucknow Executive MBA students

In late August, IÉSEG’s Executive Development and Innovation team welcomed participants from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow’s IPMX program (Executive MBA)* for a three-week ‘Global Business Exploration Program’.
Around 100 executives from IIM Lucknow took part in this customized executive program developed by IÉSEG, combining company visits, academic courses at the Paris-La Défense campus, business and cultural/tourism visits in Paris, Brussels, Luxembourg and Geneva.
As part of the program, the Indian Executives visited a number of businesses and organizations in order for them to observe firsthand how these entities function in Europe, and for them to discover new ways of working, along with new businesses and ecosystems, etc. For example, they visited the Techshop Leroy Merlin at Station F and Le Village by Crédit Agricole in Paris, the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg, the Parlamentarium in Brussels, and the United Nations in Geneva.
In addition to these visits, professors from IÉSEG, and specially selected external experts, gave a series of courses on topics related to the core themes of the program (Negotiation, Finance, Strategy and Entrepreneurship in practice). These included Emerging technologies in business: Focuses on Fintech, Strategic innovation and AI for business, Big data analytics: Building competitive advantages, Intercultural Management, and Negotiation.
To complete their international learning experience, they also had the opportunity to take part in a series of cultural activities, such as guided city tours, wine tasting workshop, tours of the Maison Cailler Chocolate Factory in Geneva and the Château de Versailles, the Cloth House factory in Brussels, and more.
